The new game, Super hero Squad, is a fun game with little cute marvel super heroes in a small, cute, animated form. In Adventure mode you get to take one of the six starting heroes and a guest hero through the level trying to stop Dr. Doom and the lethal legion. The Storyline is really good except for the fact that the characters are animated. The Battle mode portion of this game isn't too difficult but can get frustrating if you don't know what you are doing. Each character has special moves that will autimaticly KO your opponent. Characters can be unlocked in both modes of this game. Another plus about this game is that fact that you can play with up to four players simultaniously. The sound is good anlong with the graphics. The controls make this game an easy pick-up-and-play game. All in all this is a great game that I would recommend to any in the mood for little cute super heroes beating each other up!!!!!

In Marvel: Super Hero Squad, You are stuck with the most adorable super heroes on the planet. And a lot of them too. In the game there are about 20 playable heros you can unlock. You start off with six but then unlock more throughout the campaign. The campaign has six modes. One for each of the main heroes. Some of the missions do get long and very repedative. But, are very fun. So, I wouldn't recomend playing moe than two missions per day unless you'r very bored. There is another mode that becomes alot of fun for traing. This mode (Batlle) can be used to kill your friends in multiplayer battles or you can play by your self as traing. Overall, the game is decently balanced and the Battle mode is a lot of fun. If you going to buy this game, you must love Marvel heroes and love button mashing.

This game isn't worth looking at never the less buying. For starters the case shows a drimatic fight scene when the game play is so slow a snail wouldn't be inpresed. the back round is ccartoony at best, and the caractors resemble nothing of the show. I say it shouldn't even be sold.

Rated 1 out of 10 by FamilyGamer Most frustrating game in years. Don't buy for any reason.
This game is based on the tv show of the same name. The backgrounds have minor detail at best. Certainly little time was spent on developing the looks of the boards. The rocks have two fuzzy shades of gray, the dirt has two fuzzy shades of brown, the grass has two fuzzy shades of green, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. It is so bland that it actually detracts from the game. The characters look cartoonish but my children really enjoyed how they looked. Their fighting moves are loosely based on the powers they have in their marvel comic books but are extremely weak. The Incredible Hulk has to punch a wooden crate 3 or 4 times to get it to break. Come on now, the strongest Marvel Super Hero can't break a wooden box. Even my 6 year old son asked me why he was so weak. Their combat moves look decent, but once again, the Falcon appears as strong as the Hulk or the Thing. The catch phrases they say are straight out of the television show and garnered many a laugh from my kids. The boards are physically short, bland and not much fun. In fact, the boards are quite horrible. Most of your time is wasted trying to time your jumps onto falling platforms over lava, fire, nuclear waste, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I bought this game because it has two person co-op and I have several children that play games together. It is impossible for anyone under 16 years of age to do the jumping stages together. It was impossible for I and my 11 year old daughter to do it together. This is absurd. This television show is geared for kids 8 and under. What in the world were they thinking , puting this trash up for sale to their loyal fans. My 8 year old was in tears several times in the first hour of trying to play this frustrating piece of crap. The boards don't even have anything to do with the show most of the time. A generic forest scene, a generic lava scene, a generic military base, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Then there are your opponents, the laughably weak A.I.M. army. The same enemies over and over and over. This is grinding at its worst because you really don't get anything from killing these simpletons, no new moves, no up grades , nothing. Punching them is just as effective as using your powers, and sometimes more effective. Captain America's shield toss is so weak , it takes twice as many hits to beat an enemy as punching them. It is as if whomever made this game has never read a comic book in their life. And these enemies are lively next to some of the others such as the mole men. Drab brown and a cross between a manequin and an earth worm. They are awful, awful, awful. After spending an hour or more grinding and jumping to your death, you finally reach the boss of the board. Inevitably they are on a circle of some sort and yes, you can fall to your death or more often, be pushed to your demise. I can't describe to you my feeling as I was playing as the Incredible Hulk and the Mole man pushed me to my death. Thor couldn't move the Hulk if he didn't want to be moved ,but in this absolutely awful game ,the lowly Mole man manhandled the Jolly Green Giant like he was Bruce Banner. And then there is the camera work. You would think they could have gotten this part right at least. There are dozens of co-op games for kids already on the market. They solved the problems of following the characters years ago but I guess somebody forgot to tell Marvel. The camera follows one person only. Most games drag the second character so that it stays in sight on the boards at all times but not on this game. Most of the time the second hero cannot stay in view at all during a fight. I was killed repeatedly while not even being able to see my man. I finally broke down and just followed my son's character while he fought. All the joy of playing togethor is stripped completely away by of all things, crappy camera work. There is a 4 player battle brawl mode where you can be a hero or a villian but to unlock all the characters you have to play the incredibly b
