To begin with, MLB 2K8 is absolutely horrible. They did not make the frames work good and when ur pitching the ball will freeze in midair. If you can deal with the ball freezing in mid air the game is still bad. Once you get down the midair glitch almost every at bat is a homerun. I beat the NL allstars 18-2 on the hardest difficulty. There is a couple things i like about this game though: besides that glitch thing i like the concept of the pitching (even though they don't have that new pitching style avaliable for the newer systems.) Besides that this game is bad. They dont have a "superstar mode" which i've been wanting for some time now. My advice to you: get the '08 the show. The show has the pitching i like, better hittting, better graphics, and less glitches.

Wow this game is terrible get it for wii if anything
Wow this game is terrible!!! Everything about it is so boring and stupid. I don't know if it's just on playstation 2 with the graphics or not but they aren't that good. Then the gameplay controls suck bad I play mlb08 the show and after you play that and then go to the other 2k8 game everything changes the stuff that doesn't matter that much is okay I just don't get it like the sound and stuff is good but graphics, controls and so on are terrible. I absolutely hate the camera angle for pitching. It says classic this and classic that but where do you switch the controls. Terrible, terrible game .If you have a Nintendo Wii Mlb2k8 is decently better all around so if you have a Wii you should probably invest in getting it for Wii for because you will not be disappointed. Me personally I like the show games but if you like the 2k games then that's up to you!

Wrong Season!!!!
This agame is absolutely horrible. The graphics are horrible, but then again after playing the Xbox360, all of them are horrible, and the camera angles are the same. When you are pitching, you take like, a second basemen's point of view instead of the pitchers. Maybe this is just with the red sox, but in franchise mode, the Red Sox season is completely different than what im seeing on tv. The first three games are suppose to be versus the Oakland Athletics, but instead they were versus the Kansas City Royals. I personally did not like that. I also do not like that they do not have a superstar mode where u start in A and work your way up to AA, AAA, and finally the majors (They have a mod elike this in MLB '08 The Show). Also, I personally think that they made the computer way to good. I played on All-Star with the same team versus the same e\team twice, and won 6-3, and 5-1. Then when i did it with the same team, but n pro diffuculty (One lower than All-Star) the scores were 2-1, and 4-3. The games were closer , but it was suppos eto be easier. The sound and graphics were okay, but i would recommend MLB '08 The Show instead of this.

Looks Pretty Good
This game looks pretty good. I have MLB 2k7 for my 360 but it is reeeeeeeeeally hard. Batting is difficult, because it is very hard to make contact with the ball. However, the magazine "Game Informer" says batting is easier in this game so hopefully they are right. This game looks pretty fun.
