I loved this game. i played all the time! graphics are great. lego star wars games are my favorite. i love all of them. i haven't played the clone wars yet. I played the second and the complete saga. i have played indiana jones also. it was great. buy this game! if you have a ps3 get the complete saga
My first and fave game
I first got this game when I was 10 and I still regularly play it at age 14. My 3 favorite things are LEGOs, Star Wars, and video games... So of course it had to be mine. The gameplay is very good; there are very little glitches. And though it is just a tad bit limited, it's still amazing. And I love how the characters never talk, but you always know what they mean. It follows the storyline from episodes I-III very well, but is still numerous and fun to play for all ages.
Its a cool lego game.I want everybody to play it and expeirience the fun.So have fun playing. If you love your kid buy him this game. One more thing.........Get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lego Star Wars Review (Fun for all ages!)
Lego Star Wars was the first console game I ever played in the next generation. I myself am a hardcore gamer, I like to stick with the classics. I played this game with my younger sister who, like me, is a Star Wars nerd. She never really played games, but this one was one of the few that she enjoyed. We spent countless ammounts of hours playing this game together. We shared many laughs as we watched some of our favorite Star Wars moments relived in Lego form. When we beat the game we'd just make a new save slot and start over. The gameplay is fun and solid, its literaly pick up and play. The graphics were incredible for an early PS2 game! The music is from the movies, nothing chagned or new. The game also offers drop in drop out instant co-op. You could be playing a level while awaitng a friend's arrival and have them jump right into the game without pausing or re-booting the game. Which was really nice for both my sister and I, as well as my friends. There is a large selection of fun playable characters to play as during the free-play mode. Free-play mode can be unlocked after beating each level. After you beat the game there are tons of small other quests to keep you busy and coming back for more! There are hidden minikits throughout the game in each level. There are ten kits to find per level to make a mini model for the level appear in the main area when you first start up the game. There is also a true jedi gold bar at the top of the screen. During the levels you'll blow up objects or find secret areas or they'll be laying around, that are called golden studs. You can collect these studs to use as money to buy other characters and ships to use, even some cool cheats to make things more fun and interesting. Such as a minikit locator, God mode, big blasters, x2-x10 stud booster, ect. Once you complete a minikit or fill the true jedi bar you'll be given a bonus. Once you complete the game and fill each true jedi bar for all story mode levels and free play levels you'll unlock a special hidden level from Episode IV, where you play as Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper on Tantive IV. Once you complete the level you gain access to purchase and use Vader, Stormtrooper, Rebel, and Liea. It's a great game for only $6. It's well worth the price, I'd pay even $20 for it.
Its a really fun ps2 game. A Star Wars fan will love these games. Its a great game for a very great price.
This game is fun the first time you play it and after you beat it there are lots of side missions.
Good classic for star wars
This is a good game 4 10 year olds, it gets boring after u beat it, buy the game though, its not bad
I think it's a really good game because it's the game that started the lego game series and it's really fun.
Not A Bad Little Game....
I purchased this game off of a strong recommendation from a friend of mine, who said that he has enjoyed more hours than he could count with his Son playing Lego's Star Wars. So I took him up on the recommendation and got it, boy let me tell you I'm not disappointed that I did. My Son and I have enjoyed hours of cute Star Wars game play. This Lego's Playstation 2 game stuff is starting to rub off on me, yes folks, you heard right, this 41 yr. old man likes this Lego's stuff. I liked this game so much, and so did my kid, that we purchased their Lego's Star Wars "The Original Trilogy". This game gets a strong recommendation from me, if you've got the minor amount of cash required to buy a pre-owned copy, I would say do it.
