Kya: Dark Lineage
A Life Long Lasting Appeal
I've had this game for about 7 years now and i'll never get sick of it. Being a 15 year old girl i am very picky about action-adventure games. The story line pulls you right in at the first cut scene and that fact the protagonist is a heroine makes me even happier. Basically your finding pieces of a medalion to transport your brother and yourself back home. But of course you have to rescue your brother first and along the way excercize Wolfen back to their Native form. The combat is my favorite part of Kya, simply press a sequence of buttons to reveal a combo attack, you may practice these moves with Akasa if needed. I love the design of the characters and setting, the style is a little manga like which i adore. The soundtrack gets me feeling like i'm actually Kya, it's perfect. I invite friends to come play Kya and they love it just like i know you will too<3
A Life Long Lasting Appeal
I've had this game for about 7 years and i'll never get sick of it. Being a 15 year old girl it's hard to find a perfect action-adventure game out there for i am very picky about the story line, combat controls and the graphic designs. The story line pulls you in from the first cut scene,i love it. But the ending dose leave you with a cliff-hanger extending the story to Kya2, which is very depressing because there isn't one which is why i give gameplay an 8. Graphics- its not a work of art, the design is very simple and easy to follow, it would be pretty hard to get confused or lost. There are 7 different areas which all have a little something to make it unique. The soundtrack gives me goose bumps. Suttle creatures chirping in the forest could suddenly change to something like "the chorus in Pokemon when a battle begins" when you are in combat with a Wolfen. The combat feature is really what i love most about this game. Simply press a sequence of bottons to reveal an exciting combo attack. There is a lot more than just fighting Wolfen to help the Natives. Freefalling- plumet straight down the ground while dodging objects, shoot really anything with your handy dandy magic boomerang, Surf- purchase a magic board and escape firey lava or chase a giant bird, etc. And you can practice any of these features at blue shops in Native City. Basically your main goal is to find 1 piece of a medalion in each area to transport you and your brother back to Earth. With so many puzzles to solve and tricks to learn you'll have the ultimate gaming experience. I have my friends come over to play this game and they love it just like i know you will too<3
i love it
I love this game a lot. Its perfect for girls who dont really play a lot of fighting games. So............Can you make it for PS3 PLEASE!!!!!!
Well, it isn't worth a 10. The game is not that great. Nor is it terrible. It is in the middle as I have said a 5
Amazing, Inspiring, Original
This was an odd game for me to buy seeing as I normally won't pick one off the shelf without some kind of before hand overview. But I was really glad I did, more gamers need to know about this game, it is wonderful and leaves a very long impression!
The Best Game
This is the best game if you like action-adventure kinds. Everything is great about this game. You get to fight the wolfen and turn them back into simple natives and they don't even remember anything. The object of the game is to find her brother who was captured by Brazul (her father). She thought that her father had died but he was a famous scientist who created a portal from our world to Native City. In Native City, there are shops that they're trying to build but there are too little natives because who ever walked out of the city, never came back because Brazul captured them and turned them into wolfen. There are seven worlds you have to open up and it is really hard to finish the game but it's all worth it. I think that this is the best game ever!
