A Dark and Difficult Journey
Too bad this title is overlooked - it is a very good PS2 game. If you are familiar with Demon and Dark Souls, this game is somewhat similar.
The game is challenging and will not hold your hand. At every step of your journey, there is something to threaten your character, including the game environment. This kind of challenge helps to build a sense of dread and tension. On top of that, the game has a dark fantasy design that creates a somewhat sinister mysterious world with interesting puzzles to solve and sometimes bizzare creatures to fight.
At the current game's selling price, you really should consider adding this title to your library and playing it for a few hours to see if you like it.

One of the best overlooked series...
I highly recommend this game to anyone into action/adventure games. I was never really sure why first person slashers never took off as well as first person shooters did. This game starts out a little challenging while the player gets used to the controls and how to successfully maneuver the character and can be frustrating at times. The game play is fast paced as you are constantly on the move from dungeon to castle fighting a army of different monsters along the way. A wide variety of spells and huge arsenal of weapons and armors allows the player to fully customize the characters strengths and weaknesses depending on the type of foe you are currently fighting. The story is a little nonexistent but you always know where your supposed to go next but still have the ability to go of the path and explore side quest. One of my favorite things about these games is the secrets hidden throughout the world. Hidden rooms and wall compartments are strategically placed to keep the player thoroughly searching every nook of the room. A jump off a cliff could either lead to your death or a secret ledge loaded with weapons and gold. As inexpensive as this game is now there is no reason not to buy it, you will not be disappointed.

King's Field The Ancient City
King's Field is probably the best RPG game I have ever played for the PS2 it's fighting style is very unique, the character customization is very good for its year and the game features a lot of armor, magic, and weapons. This game may not be able to beat Morrowind for the Xbox but it meets its fullest potential. I wouldn't buy this game if you're not up for the challenge or if you just want to customize your character to make him look cool, this game takes a lot of time to beat and it is some serious hardcore gaming experience for all of you adventure gamers. When I first started to play the game I didn't really like because it was a bit bland but when you start to level up and get new magic and armor... etc the game becomes a very great buy of your time. I would definitely recommend King's Field The Ancient City.
