No. Terrible gameplay, followed up by terrible graphics, followed up by more equally terrible gameplay. Why this game was ever created, I have no idea. I asked myself numerous times during the course of this "game" if I was wasting my life. Turns out I was. The game developers went out of their way to make this game terrible. I apologize to the critics at all review companies for having to play this game. It is just awful. An embarrassment to gaming around the world. So no. Just... no. If you're planning on buying this game, I will warn you in advance that you may cry for the existence of humanity. I know I did.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE DISAPPOINTED BY A GAME IN MY LIFE THEN PLAYING THIS ONE. IT TOTALLY THROUGH AWAY THE STORY THAT WAS LEFT OFF BY THE 3 ORIGINALS AND PUT IT THE TRASH CAN. AND THAT IS THE WORST MISTAKE THEY COULD HAVE EVER DONE EVER!!!!!!! THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY THEY DID RIGHT IS BRING BACK ALL THE ECO THAT WAS PRETTY COOL, EVEN THOUGH YOU COULDN'T COLLECT ECO. WHICH BRINGS ME TO ANOTHER DISAPPOINTMENT IS WHY WOULD THEY GET RID OF DARK AND LIGHT JAK WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT? AND THEN MAKE DARK DAXTER REALLY ARE THEY SERIOUS? NOTHING ELSE IS GOOD ABOUT THIS NO PEACEMAKER, ALL THE OTHER MODS FROM JAK 3 ARE GONE, NO ECO, THE PLATFORMING IS BAD ITS SO OFF KEY SORT OFF ITS NOT UP THERE WITH THE ORIGINAL 3, I DON'T WANT TO FLY A PLANE FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE GAME, I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE STORY, IT HAS HORRIBLE GRAPHICS AND THIS GAME IS MADE 4 YEARS AFTER JAK X AND THAT HAS BETTER GRAPHICS. OOH GOD CAN THEY DO ANYTHING RIGHT? IN THE END HIGH IMPACT GAMES SHOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO MAKE ANOTHER GAME AGAIN THEY SHOULD GET THAT RIGHT. NAUGHTY DOG PLEASE PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER ONE TO RID THIS INJUSTICE ALL YOUR FANS BEG YOU. You may be thinking why i was typing in caps lock well... I think it emphasizes my hatred for this game.

They really messed this game up. Naughty Dog should have made this game but NO they had to make Uncharted. I would kind of recommend it to a person who likes Jak and Daxter though. I own it 4 psp I don't think there is a difference though.

Wasnt what I was hoping for
I wasn't surprised that this game wasn't could. I predicted this after naughty dog sold the series. The whole flying thing was pretty cool but the story was terrible. It might of been good coming from another game but it was a real big let down for the jak fans. And the change in voices let me down. But at least we can all be glad for the HD REMAKE coming in FEBRUARY!!!!!!! ..I think thats when they said

what happened to the game jak and daxter i was so happy they made a new jak game i spent $30 on the game and when i played it wow it sucked you can turn dark jak or light jak. pirates what were they thinking the graphics suck the first game looks better than that one jak looks like a little kid this game is the worsted. it sucks naughty dog sold the franchise i hope they make a better one then this one

What happened to the Jak and Daxter we all loved!?
BAD Graphics. BAD STORY. BAD SOUND. BAD OVERALL. WHY DID THE NAUGHTY DOG SELL THE FRANCHISE. For those of you that are a little slow on the intake...yes they sold Jak and Daxter to another company... One thing i HATE about this game is the graphics... everyone knows if you have a good thing don't change it. My BIGGEST problem with the graphics is the fact that the game doesn't look like a Jak and Daxter game. It looks totally different from the other games. My second problem with the game is the story. Don't read this section if you hate spoilers... My biggest problem with the story is the fact that all of the eco in the world is running out and the way they fixed it was they re-activated the eco sphere in the center of the earth...if its running out don't you think that there shouldn't be a way to regenerate the eco...simple answer to the way it should have ended. jak found an alternate energy source...easy... The third problem i have with the game is that the prime characters don't sound the same as previous games...i mean i know that as jack grew up his voice got lower but wouldn't you think its odd that he sounds like he's back in the second game...odd...and daxter sounds like a 13 year old boy going through puberty... weird... As for the game play its ok but it dosent feel like the previous games. the controls are a little different and the camera is a little funny. but after a few hours figuring it out, you get used to it. another thing i like about the game is the large amount of characters you meet while playing the game. Overall, this game is ok at best. id recomend it to people who have never played any game in the franchise. because if you don't they will never...EVER forgive you for makeing them play this abomination on the Jak and Daxter universe... I rate this game about a 4.4/10 for people who have played the game and an 6/10 for those who haven't. people that have played jak games will poke holes in it...thats why the non player rateing is higher...

Not like the others
I'm a huge fan of Jak and Daxter, I own every game of theirs. While I guess this game is still worth buying, it's probably the worst out of all 6. The gameplay is fun, the new twist on the weapons and eco is entertaining, but its missing that zing and humor the others had. The biggest let down is probably the ending. Once you complete the final mission, it's all over and after the credits the game just keeps repeating the final mission, and you cant venture around the place like in all the other ones. This is just a story game with absolutely no reason to come back and replay. This series should just stick to Naughty dog exclusively.

naughty dog messed up in this jak
im a jak fan i love the jak series except this one jak looks like he did a messed up surgery in his face he looks like he is in a happy mood trust me his face mesed up and his voice wat happend with his voice it is so wierd his voice is kinda deep not to much but a little. i hope naughty dog makes a better jak that continues after jak 3 will dis one does follow the story after but dis game but most of the mission is flying in the lost frontier then being on ground to fight but u still do missions without flying dats good but not to good i dont even think he mensioned his dad damos which u see him in jak 3 but jak doesnt know dat yet until half of the ending when damos dies that sucks and the little kid in jak2 and jak3 is acutually jak except i dont kno wat happened that jak see's himself when small but no one knew it was jak jak also discovers his name is mar (except is also jak)when damos died sad and mad jak got but i dont anna ruin the story so i reccamend it so buy it if u want it ( its relly good even if ur not a jak fan which i am)it is the bestjak ive evered played yet if naughty dog makes a contiues story after jak 3 which is lost frontier but it sucks so ( jak 3 and 2 rule!!!!!!!!!!!!iiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Not the real Jak and Daxter.
Sadly, Naughty Dog has sold the franchise meaning new voice actors, different looks, and an unrecognizable continuation. Jak and Keira are redone with a new face. Jak has a soft, friendly face. And previous characters are no where to be found. For example, all clues leading up to a new game are ignored as if Jak X: Combat Racing never existed. Samos is also never mentioned. I find this game as an insult to the previous trilogy known as Jak and Dexter.
