Rated 8 out of 10 by hlfpsttomorrow93 good game
This game is fun, it does get somewhat boring after playing it for over 2 hours, but its still good. It was my favorite game until hitman blood money came out a few years ago. Although the game is nothing compared to hitman blood money where u have multiple ways of killing your targets, its still fun. There aren't that many weapons in the game, unlike hitman two silent assassin. I would recommend the game to a friend who likes the hitman series, but if they never played any of the games, i wouldn't, i would recommend blood money. I got the game for a birthday gift like four years ago. its a somewhat good game, its got a few not so great features, and it does have some confusing maps. But still its a good game for the price. The creators could have done better when they made it, but otherwise its a good game.

I really like this game, i used to be on all the time trying to figure out ways to kill people. There is some parts where you kinda get lost and dont know what your doing. my fav weapon was the fiber wire i loved strangling people The beginning in my opinion was kind of boring but when you get into the middle it gets really fun

Great graphics, great mood setting music.Agent 47, seems a little less effective in this one. This game seems hampered by buggy gameplay, and smarter than you AIs, who seem to see through any disguise you wear, even if your moving slowly and discreetly.Frustrating at times, but worth a play, if you like the series.

First off, Hitman: Blood Money is a sequel to this game and far superior in many ways so if you haven't played a Hitman game, I would recommend that one before this.
The gameplay is good in this game but feels very restricted to the possibilities of completing your task. Unlike Blood Money, some tasks can only be done 1 or 2 ways to achieve a Silent Assassin rank where in Blood Money, there are several. I found on a few missions that if you choose to take out your target with some of the items on the map, your cover is instantly blown and everyone rushes you no matter where you hide. This happened to me a few times even when I killed the target and it was impossible anyone knew it was me or where I was. Very big flaws but I'm not sure if it was just my copy. Also, the final mission briefing is completely wrong. The person tells you your in an opera house and there is weapons for you in the wardrobe when your actually in a hotel room and there is no wardrobe! Two of the targets she tells you to assassinate do not exist but you can still complete the mission by killing the third target. The biggest flaw I found in the last mission was the stradegy required for you to even survive the mission. If you don't do it within the first few seconds the mission starts, you are as good as dead.
The graphics are good in this game and don't look that bad even by today's standards. Most of the environments take place in city blocks spread across China and Europe.
The music is great in Contracts. I found the soundtrack to be one of the best in the series, if not the best. The voice acting is good as well but on 1 or 2 mission briefing, the woman had an echo like she was in a gymnasium. Again, I don't know if that was just my copy. The gun shots, foot steps, and other sound effects are spot on. I highly recommend turning up the volume in this game because it sounds great.
Contracts doesn't have as good of a lasting appeal as Hitman 2 or Blood Money. The game is fairly short with 12 missions that can be completed in 4-10 minutes on most and about 15 minutes on some. The thing is though, if you are trying to get the best rating, it could take a dozen or so times to figure out what to do especially in later missions and it is frustrating. I believe if you need a stradegy guide or cheat codes for a game, that game is flawed. You won't need one for this game until the final level or if you are trying to get the best ranking on all missions. After you beat the game, you can do a level select but even that is flawed. Once you select a level and save, you have to beat the game again to get back to the level select screen.
Overall, I would only recommend this game for those who loved any of the Hitman games. If you are new to the series, avoid playing Contracts first. Blood Money is the best in the series and I recommend you check out the reviews for that game to understand why.
