Old-Style Hand-drawn Japanese Adventure Game
While difficult, this game is really fun, especially with two players. It's pretty fast paced, so even if you die a lot it's not too frustrating, because you can jump back in before you know it. The only reasons I haven't finished it yet is because my ps2 is temperamental from falling down too many times, and we got an x-bax 360 (also the demon-mirror is a really aggressive boss). The art is hand-drawn and done really well for an older top-down game. It's fairly linear, but there are a couple of different paths that can be taken to make it to the boss of each stage. There's also a lot of Japanese lore integrated into all of the enemies, as should be expected from a Japanese game. The first boss is a giant skeleton, similar to those found in Okami-den.
