Guitar Hero World Tour - Band Kit
buy!!! but beware
i just bought this game a couple days ago.. i like it pretty much..... exept for the fact that it takes 10 minutes just for the game to go to the main menu and it takes 8 minutes just to load one dang song.. plus while im playing i look back into the crowd and the crowd skips one secong there moving and the next there just sitting there.. i have a song loading while im writing this... its just to slow and very cheaply made i love the game its just it loads way to slow.. an up side is the song list is great .. it has ozzy ozbourne crazy train. bullet for my valentine scream aim fire system of a down byob.. great songs.. porly made game.. i love the new guitar it rocks easy to shreed on and just play .. the drum set acctually makes you feel like your playing a drum set.. im a pro drummer (almost) and i love it.. singing on this is HARD
gh4 world tour
I agree. I think GH4 world tour will be much better than rockband. 1. gh4 has a better drum set, because gh4 includes the cymbals! 2. GH4 will have the song creation thing. I can't wait until I get this game for Christmas! Definitely a GREAT Christmas gift! I thought about getting it for PS2, but it doesn't have the online features the others do, so i'm going to get it for the wii.
This game is going to be amazing. This game is going to have the ability to create your own songs which will keep a person entertained for a long time. Also the drums are really realistic and the guitar looks great!!! I cant wait for this game. It will be awesome. I can only hope that the PS2 version will be the same as the others(except graphics wise) because I own a PS2 and love guitar hero.
Way better Than Rock Band 2!!!!
I can't wait until I get this for Christmas or when I get enough money, whichever comes first! The reason guitar hero is better than rock band is because 1, the better drumset, 2 the better guitar, and 3 the song creator! I mean how does Rock band expect to compete with Guitar Hero! I mean wow they advertise that they will have over 500 songs for download, but hey for us ps2 guys that doesn't make a difference, also how many do you think guitar hero will have?! They could have more, you never know!
Guitar Hero Rocks
I'm guessing that guitar hero 4 is going to be way better than rock band 2 because you can create songs and make your own characters in the ps2 version, but i think ps2 owners are getting blown off by not having the online features. But other than that, i think its all good.
Guitar Hero World Tour
I like this game because it has my favorite artist,(LINKIN PARK).I started hearing them since i was 8 years old.I know when poeple start playing this game, they will know how i feel!
this game was really fun. i play it with my family every night and we have a great time. this is worth the buy!
guitar hero world tour
This game is going to be sweet. You're going to be able to create your own character on it in the ps2 version unlike rockband, and the drums are pimpin.
Guitar Hero World Tour ROCKS!!!
In this review I am going to state the best and worst parts about GH World Tour, my current favorite game. And I will also answer some of the questions that have been stated in other reviews. Read this review and it may change your opinion of the game, or even persuade you to buy it. First off, lets talk about the music, since that is what the game is all about. In the very beginning of the game, you are going to come across some songs most of you will know, and some may not. But later on in the game, the real rewards come out. You will get to play "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, "Hot for Teacher" by Van Halen, and many, many other songs. Crazy Train happens to be my favorite song to play. There is a huge variety of these songs, over 80 of them. Some of them are more fun than others, but all still give you that rush we all get when playing Guitar Hero. World Tour made that rush even stronger when they decided to bring the ACTUAL SINGER of that song onto stage when you play it. Some you may have trouble recognizing, but it was pretty obvious when Ozzy Osbourne came onto the stage when I first chose Mr. Crowley. Now lets talk graphics. I would have given it a 10 if it just said animation. The animations in this game are insane. Your character, and even the other characters, just cant stop moving until the softest parts in the song, which gives the game a more realistic touch. Also, the drum animations are more accurate, as in GH 3, the drumsticks never even actually touch the drums, but in Guitar Hero World Tour, they are very accurate, and my friends say that it even hits the actual notes you are playing on your plastic drums. I haven't checked that myself though. The reason I gave this a nine is because the graphics themselves should really be a 9. As with all guitar hero games, the game is focused on the music more than the graphics. This may be because I am on the ps2, and I can guarantee you a better look on the more advanced systems. However, the graphics still look okay, and so that sums up my graphics review. Your in GameStop and you here someone say, Guitar Hero is so hard, and then the other replies, no it's not, guitar hero is easy. Well, I am going to say what I think of this game. For me, Guitar Hero is easy all the way up to Expert, where it is still challenging to me. I can play up to the last several sections on Expert. But, in the grand scale of things, I will say that you cant judge Guitar Hero on its difficulty. It , more than most games, depends entirely on your skill level. If you have just started playing, easy may even be difficult, which brings me to another subject, the new "Beginner" difficulty, which is designed for learning players who cant pass the first songs on easy yet. However, if you are a more experienced player, you can certainly make the game much harder by increasing the difficulty. To the controls for the game. The guitar is new, redesigned, and looks better. The drums are a revolutionary piece of plastic that you find yourself hitting all night. The mic is good, however I will admit you can get better mics in individual packages designed for that system. All in all, the instruments are good. The drums are sturdier than the drums in "Rock Band" which you can actually use in GH World Tour, I believe. The guitar has the new upgrade, " the slider bar". It is somewhat hard to learn how to use, but it makes the game more fun if you decide to use it after learning how. They are all durable, as long as you treat them well. That brings me to a problem many of us have come across with the guitar, and I have as well. It is actually something that has been a problem since the first guitar hero. It is this, after a time of playing guitar hero, you notice that you are missing notes you know you hit, or it lets go of long notes that you know it didn't. My GH3 guitar has this problem horribly, and I discovered the cause. The reason is: the guitars are not
