Grandia Xtreme - Used 5 10 1 1

endless dungeons This instalment of Grandia will take you threw the story of a boy mixed up with the local army. Thats about as in depth as the story line is.. literally. It took me about 5 attempts to beat the game. The biggest challenge about the game is to keep intrest threw the endless dungeons. The customization and game engine isnt what you would expect from the other Grandia games. Overall length of the game is directly proportional to how well you are at avoiding battle. This is something i never do in an RPG but this game takes it to an EXTREME with dungeons that can easily last hours from save point to save point with little or no story to keep ones intrest. I sucked it up and put the last 20 hours into the game just to see if it got any better, nothing changed. I'm not saying its bad, its a combat game in and through. If you cant get enough of grandias combat style this is your game. Fun fights and good bosses. I also did not explore any extra content, it was long enough as it was and there wasnt much challenge in the fights themselves. Whatever story there is to this game is what i stuck with. Like every installment from the ps1 on, this game dilivers exceptional music and strangly aluring terain to kill threw. You would probably like it but ive allready sold mine off and wouldnt rebuy it.
