Genji: Dawn of The Samurai
This game is loosely based on the life of Genji No Yoshitsune, otherwise known as Yoshitsune Minamoto. This game has to do with Yoshitsune finding a jewel that slows time, Matrix-style. At about the same time, he is asked to help defeat the evil army of the Heishe. Being the brave warrior that he is, he eagerly accepts the quest. After a little while, you get a second character to play as, so that's cool. You can freely switch between the two characters at your base, however, you cannot do this during missions. The graphics are great, considering this is a fairly old game. The controls are easy to learn yet, very complex. I think this is a highly overlooked game. If you like Japanese history and still own a ps2, check this game out. You won't regret it!!!
This game is outstanding on ps2.Im using componet cables, and this game is visually beautiful.the cut scenes are amazing, colors are bright and gorgeous. Its goes in and out of cut scenes from time to time and it does it very well. This has to be like one of my favorite games on ps2.If you like hack n slash samuri style with beautiful color and awsome cut scenes this is the game.Mine is in jap audio but english text.I recommend to read the text or youll get lost in the begininng, but after you do youll understand the game and your mission.Im not gonna tell ya what that is because it would spoil the awsome beginning of game.Alls i can say is this is a must have, the controls are easy and again this is visually beautiul..what a awsome game 10 stars ..i paid 2.99 preowned go figure and id pay 20.00 all day for this game..peace
Too easy and too short
The game itself is pretty fun to play. But I expected it to be a lot longer. Felt like it should've been an action rpg. I beat the game within 10 hours. Don't waste your money on this game.
