Creepy Stuff
Being interested in ghosts and haunts this had me and my fiance hooked from the start. The game is all around creepy and leaves you with a chill. Even gave me nightmares. The controls take some getting used to, but once you get that down it's pretty simple. After playing this I ordered the second and third installments.

AWESOME!!!
This game is one of the best horror games out there in my opinion. Sounds alone in the game will keep you up for nights to come after playing. I played this when it first came out in 2001 with my brother and we still play the heck out of it today its a great game! If you like horror games PICK THIS ONE UP!!!!

Scariest Game Ever
I became interested in this series about a year ago. This was the first game of it that I purchased. I was not dissapointed. It's absolutely terrifying! I love horror survival, and this game, along with it's entire series, it's the SCARIEST game I have ever played. Ghost jump out at you through walls at the most unexpected times. And sometimes, if you just pull your camera out to look around, it slams a ghost right in your face for an extra scare. Bone-chilling music adds to the atmosphere as you explore a haunted mansion, which was really given that haunted look; blood is stained on the walls, ropes hang from the walls, the works. The gameplay is very easy to get used to, and the story is great. I've played this entire series, including the Japanese-exclusive 4th game, and this one is still the most frightening. It does an excellent job of keeping you at the edge of your seat. I highly recommend it to any horror fan!

Best of the series
Played all three. This was the best IMO, probably because there was nothing quite like it at the time. Great story and unique gameplay. Haunting music and disturbing atmosphere. Where most horror games are either slash and/or gore fests, this one relies on mood, music, and story. There's still a "shooting" element in the game, but you basically trade your guns in for a camera which captures your enemies (ghosts) essences in order to destroy them. Story is pretty linear and you won't feel at a loss of what to do (much of the time). If you're looking for a face paced shooter kinda game, this isn't for you. But, if a good, compelling story one that haunts you with occasional scares and disturbing subject matter, then definitely check this out.

Best Game I've played
While this game is really old and rare to boot, if you can get your hands on it, DO IT! This is the best game I've ever played, along with FF2. The storyline is great, as long as you read all the documents you pick up along the way. Controls are easy to use and very user friendly, and this game, on normal, is still pretty difficult. Also, this is the scariest game you can play by yourself! Its good to sit in a room at midnight with loud surround sound and just play with a few friends. It'll make you jump when you are not expecting it. FF also throws in a little FPS style with the "Camera Obscura". You kill ghosts with camera's i mean come on? The puzzles do get repetitive, but are not all that hard to figure out. But if you are looking for a GOOD horror survival with a type of FPS, this is your game.

Fatal Frame will scare you
I had never heard about Fatal Frame before. I saw it at my local Gamestop and thought, "Hey, this might be kinda a good game if it's supposed to be scary and involves ghosts." It scared the crap out of me. The game was a pretty decent game. I was VERY happy with it. It has a wonderful storyline and it will make you not want to play the game alone. The music will keep you on the edge of your seat, with its sudden jumping and moaning of the ghosts around. The graphics are very well done. The controls get you through. They will aggravate you here and there, but most games do that. All games aren't perfect. The camera angles are okay but they won't bother you too much. But in the game you play a young woman by the name of Miku Hinasaki. Her objective is to go through this Mansion that her brother, Mafuyu, went in a couple of years ago and never returned home. Worried, she goes to look for him in the haunted mansion, but what she doesn't know is once she enters, she cannot leave. Fatal Frame was a great game, and you won't be disappointed. But I do warn you. You do kill ghosts with a camera. Yes, it might seem stupid to kill ghosts with a camera, but really that doesn't matter. As long as you kill the ghost and have fun and have a good scare you shouldn't go by what other people say. Go out and buy Fatal Frame!
