Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures
this game is good
a few things 1. the reviews for this game sound like they where wrote by 3 year olds oneof them wrote it has no story its just kids running arround. and that is true because that is what the show is about morron. 2. bad graffics get over it you cant have everything stop being spoiled and enjoy a good game. i got this game like 2 years ago and when im borred i still play it it is a good game exept at some points it can be kind of anoying and complex if you do get this game and you cant figure it out just stick with it you will find what u need to do. but lastlyif you do beat the story it has a lot of stuff for you to keep doing 2 years and im still trying so u wont get borred of it for a while
This game backfired a LOT
I got this game because--of course--I liked the Ed, Edd n' Eddy TV show series. As I started playing it, my aunt thought it was a stupid game, and when I finished the exact day when I bought it, she was right. I beaten the game before nightfall, I thought it was going to be longer than like 5 levels---there are two unlockable levels avabalie---, but it was soo short, it wasn't even funny. Also, the graphics were crappy too. The character's faces looked grayed out. The characters' lip-sync is...out of whack sometimes. The enviorements, however are average---The cul-de-sac is still there but I think they X'ed out almost half of the cul-de-sac---. Compared to the orginal Call of Duty---just making an example---the AI is not too smart. I also get stuck trying to find other levels to do in the game, I be like exploring the whole cul-de-sac looking for some more missions to do. If I were you, I would RENT it first, then NOT buy it.
For die hard fans of the series ONLY
this game takes 8 of the tv episodes (6 "scams" and 2 bonus levels) and makes them into levels. There are collectibles such as jawbreakers and costume pieces, and each Ed has his own special ability when other Eds are near. The collision detection is very inaccurate, which is frustrating when your enemies have perfect aim during boss battles. The last "scam" of this game made me want to throw the controller very badly, but the bonus levels won me over again, they played with practically no glitches. I would recommend this to those who truly love the series. Otherwise, it is just a very buggy game.
Major let down :(
i love the TV show of this game i would always watch it so one day i went in to game stop and saw this game so i bought it and started playing it. It might have been the worst game ever let me list why. Number 1 you have to play with Double D and Ed the whole time they follow you in a line and they wont bug off. Number 2 the graphics are horrible there like PS1 graphics. Number 3 the controls stink like one time you want to join a boy scout troop with Johnny and Rolf. And there is wood sticking out and you have to press square to step on top of each other it is terrible. Number 4 the game is short it would take you four hours to beat this game i think i never beat the whole game but almost did because it was so bad. Number 5 there is no story to the game besides that you are 3 kids who mess around and cause trouble. I do not recommend this game
Im a fan of the show, but not the game
THE GOOD- you can collect jawbreakers, money, easter eggs, and clothing. all the characters from the show are in the game. 3 of the bonus features are: big head, small head, and a costume. THE OK- bonus levels were nothing special but at least you could spend time there. THE BAD- combat was too easy with some enemies. combat would have been more fun with the addition of combos. no two player mode. another bonus features was a picture of each person who plays each ed along with a line they say (in my opinion that was a waste. they should have put a clip of the actor actually talking instead of just a photo) also on the bad list is that every character in the game has about 3 lines during gameplay while some have 1 or 2. THE SECOND MOST ANNOYING THING IN THE GAME IS the squierrls that jump on you do not leave you alone until you hit them and to get them off of you have to jump around about three times. THE MOST ANNOYING THING IN THE GAME IS that everytime you die or time runs out, you hear kids laughter and an annoying kids voice (kevin) say HAHA LOSER. that really got me mad at this innanimate object. i am a fan of the show and i will always be but i do not love this game.
ok so um this game was great.also that im a fan of ededdeddy but not a double d fan!! i would save this a memorie for ededdeddy!
For fans like me, it's pretty good.
The story it's original. The graphic dosen't look like God of War III, but are really good and the characters looks like the TV series. The sound effects, voices and music are from the cartoon, and that's what makes you feel in the TV series. It's really fun to play and sometimes is hard. If you are fan of the cartoon, it's a must have. If not, maybe you will not like the game. What is REALLY bad is that there is no co-op with a friend.
A good game in it's time.
To like this game, you must be a fan, that much is a given. The game is by no means amazing, but you will enjoy it if you're a fan of the show. A bit buggy, but it's way better than most games based on shows/movies are. I really like the variety between the Ed's and I like the concept of playing through episodes.
My review about a bad game.
Ok as I said before in my comment, this game is terrible, graphics arent good and the plot could have gone farther, I give this game a 1 rating because its also boring, Im a Big Ed Edd n Eddy fan but I dont reccomend this game to anyone, not even Die hard fans
Quarter?! -suddenly rich-
The first levels had me gripping my sides. Ok, LITTLE bit of an overstatement, however I was laughing through the entire game. I am a huge fan of the Eds, from when they started on Cartoon Network to the movie that ended a legendary comedy to span across the years to come, and have always loved any adaptations of them into... well, anything! When I first bought this game I bought it for my brother as a birthday present. When he was struggling I helped him out a bit and found myself not wanting to give up the controller. The first thing I noticed is the open-world feel. I am a huge fan of any sandbox game (GTA, this game, uhh... most Ratchet and Clanks and Jak and Daxter games, etc.) the feeling of actually walking around the entirety of the Cul-De-Sac was breath-taking. From the Construction Site to the "House of the Haunted", you can go wherever the Eds have gone... except back to school. The gameplay was solid, and it felt like I was actually holding Edd's slingshot as he fired a waterballoon, or launched a stink bomb at Sarah for kicks! It's so addicting to do this by the way. Sound was what you should expect, music you know and love, and the actual voice actors from the show, who were more than happy to do this game, are the ones who play the characters, not some rip off actors who butcher the role. I believe the lasting appeal is what keeps this game alive. Once you finish the actual story there is so much to do, as well as two hidden levels unlocked by various means. And even then, there are Jawbreakers to find, and stuff to unearth. This game's great for friends who want a laugh, kids who want to start out small, and parents who remember when this show started. Everyone will want to try this game, I even got my own grandmother into it.
