Dynasty Warriors 5 is amazing; it totally held my interest for months. This fighting game takes place in china and has a group of strong warriors in a dynasty. In this game there are over 30 different people to use in 4 individual dynasties. The game has a lot of weapon choices and item selections. The graphics are good and the story of the game is easy to follow along with so there is nothing to worry about. The game has strategies instead of just trying to figure out what to do, but even though there is difficulty settings it still might be a little too challenging. Power-ups are available in the game so it gets a little easier throughout the game. There are over 20 different battle fields to fight in and you can do two player. So if you’re ever bored of watching TV, you can always play Dynasty Warriors 5.

Dynasty Warriors 5 is where it all started. It's one of the best fightng games for the Playstation 2 ever. The game features an old school hack n' slash arcade feel. This means tons of fun for days running through armies of chinnese warriors with a giant sword slicing people is half. The main problem is that there is absolutely no blood in this game. Theres is so much hacking and slashing in the game thats it's actually confusing why the game has no blood, a key element in most hack n' slash games. The player can play through the dynasty of 4 kingdoms. Each kingdom tried to rule over the other in huge battles with thousands of boss battles wating for the player. But sadly, the hack n' slash element makes the game way to easy which means you could walk up to a boss, hurt him some, and then run away without anyone to try to kill you. For a last gen console game, te graphics are pretty good, but dont compete with it's proceeder Dynasty Warriors 6 for the PS3. One of the best parts of the game s how long the game is. You can not only play through the lenghthy story but you can also play multiplayer and brose through the huge Dynasty Warriors encyclopedia. But really, did the Chinnese listen to heavy metal during battle? No? Well the Chinnese in Dynasty Warriors do.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Bagas305 An excellent Dynasty Warriors game!
All right, I know this game is pretty old but it was one of the best DW game back when the PS2 was still around. The mechanics were excellent, especially for a PS2 video game. The sound was decent and sure, there were some few flaws but it didn't disappoint! Everything about it looked pretty neat. The character and weapon models looked detailed and the gameplay was a heck of a lot better than Dynasty Warriors 4. Since PS2 games aren't sold at the store anymore, buy it at Ebay or whatnot. Trust me, I've had this game for 3 years and I still do!

This game defeats the Samurai warriors 2 by a long shot. This game is worth your money.
