Dynasty Warriors 4
The best Dynasty Warriors game!
This is the best game ever! Its not like Dynasty Warriors 5 or Dynasty Warriors 6. It is way better. It has all sorts of challenges. The graphics are really good. It is way better then Dynasty Warriors 2 and Dynasty Warriors 3. The length is really good. The storyline is the best! All sorts of levels for each kingdom. Some like Lu Bu's forces or Dong Zhuo forces is shorter than Wu forces, Shu forces, and Wei forces. The controls are really good. You can create your own character! I would reccomend this game than any fighting game. The game has a little bad spots and a lot of good spots. I mean A LOT of good spots. There is on like 1 or 2 bad spots in the whole entire game. I would reather buy this game than any other Dynasty Warriors game. You should maybe rent it first then buy it. I am sure you will like it. If you like my reveiw, GO BUY IT!
Awesome Game....... So Buy It!
This game is way better the other Dynasty Warriors games not 5 and 6 but, this game has good graphics and create your own character! I rather buy this game then any other fighting game like this not the Dynasty Warriors games. But I don't like how when a lot of enemies around you and slows down the game but I recommend this product and any other Dynasty Warriors games! This game has some good spots and some bad spots but the game is pretty good. If you want to play this game I would rent it first before you buy it buy it! If you want to buy this game then come to gamestop then any other game stores because they give you good deals! Now the game has so many forces like Wei, Wu, Shu, Lu Bu, Dong Zhou, and the Yellow Turbints. Well, If you like my review then BUY IT!
So fresh and so clean.
This is the best Dynasty Warriors game in the whole series. When you play this you will be addicted to it like glue. Its awesome, combos are good useage. I highly advise everyone to get this game. Trust me you will love and i've already completed the whole game with all characters unlocked.
The BEST Dynasty Warriors game to date!
I bought this game twice I LOVED it so much! I owned my first copy when I was 9 & ten years later i still have a copy. This game was my favorite game growing up. The each character has his own story and while you play through the Musou Mode you eventually grow to love some characters. The fact that you could level up your weapons and train your (1-8) bodyguards provided a much need replay values! Plus there are up t0 42 playable characters each with the own identity plus the is an option to create your own character. The soundtrack to this game is AWESOME! The clip scenes throughout the game provide some incite on the battle and helps you understand whats going on. For the record my favorite character is Guan Yu & I like the fact that he died and the game continues to go on even though such a vital character for the Shu died. The game is difficult but once you train your bodyguards you become unstoppable and there is nothing like reaching 2,000 kills in one match! Overall, I recommend this game to anyone who is games with close combat and endless replay value! Plus the game has an EXCELLENT story line for a close-combat action packed game!
This game is a great game to play. It gives a good story for every player. It sometimes is hard to play. I got this game a while ago, and I loved it. The game has fair graphics and sound is great, the game does have challenges. You work on the players and get them stronger and better. The more you play, the better you get. The game is a good first game to get. The storyline is great to listen to. The game goes a good length, you beat about 7-8 levels and you beat the game for that one player, then you play another player and you unlock more levels, new stories and a lot more. The controls are easy to learn, and won't take long to remember what button does what. This game is a game I would recommend for everyone that loves fighting games. So don't lose your chance to play this game.
Dynasty warriors 4 is a great sequel for the series from 1, 2 and 3. The challenging part is getting all the campaigns and characters.
I have traded up my earlier installments of the game.I traded up my later installments. Why this one? Customizable bodyguards, storyline was good.I think at the time,I was seriously impressed with this installment. The later installments seemed hollow compared to this one.If you like this series,I recommend it.Like a guilty pleasure 70's kung-fu B movie! Bad voice overs too. Get it!
This is by far the best or one of the best dynasty warriors game ever. The split screen multiplayer is awesome and if you're a fan of the serious this game will not disappoint
this game is so cool like i returned it because i got xtreme legends and i thought it would have story and free mode so now i want it back
Challenge: This game is hard. This is not one of those games where you can play every level in career mode and win. Unless you are very good at this game, you will probably have to train your person in free mode before you can win the entire career mode. And even on top of that you will most likely die more than once during the career mode. Controls: The controls aren't great. It's unavoidable. Eventually you'll find yourself just pushing down on one button. And once your knocked down and with a few officers or "bosses" it gets very annoying because it is impossible to stop being hit. Graphics/Animation: Overall these are fairly strong. They aren't next generation, but this isn't a new game so that's unavoidable. My only other objection is that levels could be stronger. Interface: Another cool thing about this game is that above the heads there is a clear line either read of blue. This makes it very easy to distinguish your allies from your enemies and tell how much health each has left. Length: If you find this game entertaining, it will entertain you for a long time. It takes a long time to even beat the career mode of this, and on top of that, there are many characters to unlock. Once you're done beating a career mode with a character, you will probably still be able to train him so that he is fully powered. And after you're done with one character you can move onto another, and train them. If you're finally done with training everyone completely, there are still unique weapons and items to discover. If you're done with that, then you'll always have challenge mode to work on and get better at. Then if you're finally done you can make your own characters, train them, delete them, and start all over again. Bottom line, this game will keep you occupied a long time. Sound: The sound is great because it's music, but still nice to listen to. You can also hear characters talking in the background, and the music isn't so overly distracting that you can't focus. Music is also always playing which I think is a nice idea. The only objection I have is that the songs get very repetitive. There aren't many songs. Storyline: The storyline is another great thing about this game. It explains everything that is happening during battles, and stuff. I really enjoyed that part of the game. The only down side of that was that you have to read the information, and some people may not like that. AI: This is another complaint I have about the game. The Artificial intelligence is one thing that is poor. You aren't often attacked by the soldiers, so the only chance to die you have is when you're near an officer. Character Balance: This is a good part about the game. Characters are similar enough that if you can play as one character you can basically play with every character, but characters are different enough that they are all individuals that you can like different characters better than others. Character customization: This is not strong to me. Although you do have many weapons to choose from when customizing, most of these weapons are copies from other unique characters. Also the level of customization is minimal. There are few changeable things about your character, and few options for the few things that can be changed, overall not a strong area. Vehicles: Another area this game lacks is the vehicle area. The only animals you can ride are a horse and an elephant. I would like to see more animals that can be ridden. Location variety: Although there are many maps, there aren't a lot of individual things that really separate one map from another. There are different landscapes and different map layouts, but most are basic, and unoriginal. Closing: Although there are many areas that could be improved in this game, you may like it. Personally I'm into games with lots of combos that are more complex and take longer to master. But if you're into basic controls this is definitely the game for you and you'll love it. I know many people who l
