My thoughs on this game
When i first bought this game i was excited to receive it, when i received it i was happy, but when i finally played the game, it wasn't what i had expect. The game was alright in some aspects, such as the sound and combat system, but i still disliked it. The reason why? You die extremely easy. Most mobs will hit 1/5 your health, and health potions are extremely hard to find. You can buy them, sure, but it is extremely expensive (100 gold coins each potion) and gold is extremely hard to come by, you get about 30 gold per mob you kill, and you don't kill as many mobs as you think you would. Over all this game would be a lot better if the creators had simply either made potions more accessible, or gold easier to farm. The graphics are okay for a 2001 game, and the loading is well... what you would expect of a game that came out in 2001. Overall i would recommend it to those who have extreme patience because you die a lot and it gets aggravating after a while.

Tomb Raider Meets EverQuest! Beasting Game!
Remember the first time you played the original Tomb Raider? At first glance the graphics weren't that great, but it didn't
matter because it was so fun to control Lara Croft, explore her world, solve the puzzles, battle, and marvel at what was to
come next? DRAKAN: THE ANCIENT'S GATE is one of those games. There are many similarities to the first Tomb Raider in this
game. You play as Rynn (a female warrior who bears a striking resemblance to Lara Croft), you explore vast lands, caverns,
dungeons, and buildings completing quests and solving puzzles,and the graphics are pretty much the same as the early Tomb
Raider titles as well.
That's where the similarities end, however. In Drakan: TAG, Rynn is accompanied by her fearless dragon, Arohk, in aerial
battles and travel. Rynn battles Orcs, Goblins, Ogres, Giants, Yetis, Giant Spiders, Undead creatures, and a host of other
formidable foes in this title which mixes action/adventure with rpg elements. Rynn isn't as agile or acrobatic as Lara, but
then again she CAN use magic AND she can fly around on her dragon blasting enemies with various elements (fire, ice, poison,
wind, lightning bolts, etc). Any gamer can get lost in the vast environments of this awesome game. Hours of gameplay make
this title worthy of becoming a staple in any rpg player's gaming library. I strongly recommend this title.

Long Epic Quest is well Fitting.
I came across this game and I didn't know what to expect. When I first started to play I can all ready tell this one is good one. The areas are huge I mean huge. You can fly on your powerful dragon and fire away at your enemies. The gameplay is good a hint of Zelda in there but sadly to say it the gameplay is abit lacky in someways like you can backflip or side flip or roll but those nasty little creatures still manage to hit you even though you are a foot away. You can get stuck in if you come to a crack or between a rock. And this happen to me once I flipped sideways I went rigt through the hill were I fought many undead. The graphics are old school but thats doesn't mean it's ugly. I got to confuss I kept my eyes on Rynn's butt... anyways there are many weapons to choose from to swords, long swords, bows, staffs, maces, axes... you can use many spells as well, the voice acting is well crafted. There are many places to go caves and other places like the church of the monks which gave me the creeps. The weapons do break and so does the armor. You can repair them but it comes with a price you got pay for it and they will lose some of it's durablity too. This game is very long the second epic quest that I have played. Rynn reminds me of Lora Croft abit but Rynn stands out better.

GET THIS GAME!
This game is amazing. It pretty much sums up to that. To me, a good game revolves around a story line and boy does this game have one. I also like classics and besides Legend of Dragoon this is the best game storyline wise EVER MADE. I have been playing it FOREVER and never get tired of it especially the last map and the last section of the game in Stratos. Plus, it is only 5 bucks! Seriously if you like a good game with a fantastic storyline, GET THIS. It's perfect!

My opinion
I know this isn't much but This game is AWSOME although the graphics are a bit old but ive been playing since it came out which was years ago im not sure how long ago it was anyways i still play to this day and it never gets old to me, but you might have a different opinion.
So.....BUY and PLAY it, its a must have.
