Dragonball Z: Sagas
Awesome Dragonball Z game for the PS2
I was amazed at this game Dragonball Z: Sagas, it has everything a fan of the show would enjoy. I just love the game at first I was like it might be bad, but then this game got really cool and fun. Let me tell you about this game and its features. The challenge on this game is good, its not too hard or easy to play. The graphics are real amazing looks just like the anime almost. The length is pretty decent, you play missions never before played in Dragonball Z games. The storyline is great since you can fly at will, and roam the area you are currently in. The storyline also lets you follow things like Trunk's history, what Goku was doing on the alien planet after he defeated Freeza etc. The controls are good because they are easy and simple to follow, and to remember. The interface is excellent to use. The sound is outstanding, the character's voices sound clear and easy to hear. The sound of the music fits when you are just roaming around or when you are about to fight someone. So in my opinion go and buy Dragonball Z: Sagas!!!
A good game with to many flaws
I for one like the idea of a action/adventure style DBZ game but I was a little disappointed and here's why I liked the game for the most part, but I it lacked the challenge I’m looking for in a game like this. The moves are limited and the actual story was too short, not to mention that there are about ten characters I think that if you put it all into perspective it lacks the most where it counts. If your looking for a game that takes a while I would look for something else, but if your looking for a fast fix for that gaming addiction, I know we all have, than I would get this game, but other than fairly interesting levels it's not to great and I would go with one of the Budakai games and have a bit more fun. Oh, and a reminder to all you nerds just like me out there GAME ON!
This game is the bomb
i thought this game was very good it reminded me of the gameboy advance ones. if you like dragonball z for the gameboy advance i think you would like this game alot its for any age. the graphic are good for a ps2 the game dose take you through the whole sagas which is nice plus you can play as your favorite characters too i would recommend this game to anyone who loves action and adventure i can keep playign this game over and over. it cook cause you can actually blow up your sourrounding which pretty awsome the bosses are kinda easy to beat if your a expert gamer. i think they did a pretty good job with game i hope they more like this cause i had alot of fun playing it. this is a must have game for dragonballz lovers and fan. so try it out
This game is sweet
A Sweet game for action and fighting and cell is so hard to beat.
Too much adventure
It is too much adventure i thought dragon ball games were more action and fighting. And when i have to transform with teen gohan vs cell i nearly died three times because you have to power up i can't even maintain the first form with goku trunks vegeta and with piccolo.
This game is nothing like the Budokai series and was badly made. I bought this new for $40 and regret it. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it is a new way to play Dragon Ball Z. It only goes up to the cell saga. It can only be played on story mode but it does have two player. A shame though cuz I sold it to Gamestop for 89 cents. This game is not for dragon ball z fans and isn't impressive. Only reason I would recommend it is because it is cheaper now.
Not the best
When dragonball z sagas first came out, I thought it was going to be the best dragonball z game of all time. When I played the game, they were on the right track with being able to blow up your surroundings and fly at will but this game seemed to not deliver in the best way possible. Not long enough, not enough characters, not enough moves, and not challenging enough. This game would be great for a very young child but not for a middle aged adult looking to buy a great game. The price of the game dropped shortly after I bought this game which I was very disappointed. I'm glad they came out with better dragonball z games because I almost lost my interest in dragonball z games because of this one. This is just my opinion and you would just have to play the game to see for yourself now that the game is cheap.
Average good starter
ok this game is ok but it has too many flaws my friend would like it but it needs more enthusiasm in the game play and characters if u want great i recomend tenkaichi 3 or perhaps raging blast if you want to get used to dbz games first this is your best way to learn...my opinion.
Not Bad on first try but needs improvement
Well... i kinda enjoyed this game as a kid but Atari needs to work on flying and GLITCHES mainly. Also some bosses are OVERRATED meaning too much health for bosses like Raditz, Nappa, etc. I would recommend making Sagas 2 and take a lot of time on the Gameplay,GRAPHICS, and characters get there OWN combos, also ESPECIALLY THE CAMERA. This game has characters doing the same move/combos. The only thing different is moves like Galick Gun, Kamehameha, Masenko, etc. Dragon Ball Z: Sagas needs more work and must be took seriously. Good try tho.
Play If your getting tired of shooters
This game Is very very nice. The gameplay Is very different than most DBZ game's, I like that. Some people would argue that the graphics are'nt meeting their standards, well I would argue that this is not a new game this Is a game from the ps2 era. If I wanted to play a bunch of hardcore shooter's you would most likely see me pick out duke nukem. My nephew does'nt understand what It was like during the ps2 era. Shooters were a rare occurance and even If they were they'd ussually have gimmicks to them. These day's shooter's are just kill every thing at least duke nukem has creativity
