Dot.Hack G.U. Vol 3 Redemption
This is one of the best games ever!!!!
This game is one of the BEST GAMES EVER!!! Just like the rest of the games, it revolves around Haseo and his friends battiling the menace of AIDA. But i have to say that out of the whole series this one is the best. In this game most of the lingering things that you have been wondering about will com to light!!! And as always you get a brand new weapon near the middle/end and it is really, really awesome. This game has a lot of twists, turns, and suprises (as usual). I didnt care how much it is when i got it. I had played the series since the very first one in the regular .hack series. I about screamed when i heard there was another whole version coming out. I think that i finished all 3 games in about a month. It is one of those games that is not too short, but doesnt take forever to beat. It doesnt matter how much it is BUY IT!!!! On second thought buy the first one in the GU series because u will get bonuses throughout the series. But buy the first one in the GU series and play them all the way through or you will regret it!!!!!
3/3, 7/7, greatest series ever comes to a close.
I would like to start off by saying that this is the second time I am writing a review for this game. I wrote the reviews for all 7 dot.hack games in the same day, but for whatever reason this one didn't post. Now onto the review. This is the final installment of the 7 dot.hack(4) and dot.hack//G.U.(3) game series. This one, once again, introduces new people, places, and things. You get new abilities, and new enemies to crush. The story gets deeper and more involved. You get the answer to three questions at the same time you ask five more, right up until the very end. This game brings the whole dot.hack series to a close and eventually ties up the loose ends. You will never guess what happens! The dot.hack series has the best story of all RPGs ever. On a scale from 1 to 10, dot.hack is a 15 whereas no other games are more then 10. I would definately recommend playing all 7 dot.hack games in a row. As it all comes to a close, you will be sad that it's over because you will want to play more, but stll feel very satisfied with the games. Finally, I shall say this once more, Gameplay/Story > Everything Else > Graphics, and dot.hack is #1.
A great game
First, I have played this game, Redemption, 3 times because I have really enjoyed it. The stories are actually quite very nice, from here and there for people like me who usually predict what will happen in the future, there are few pleasants surprises that will engrave in you mind. It has already been 4 years, yet it is still, I dare say, one of the most enjoyable and memorable game I ever played in my life. It may get tedious, but you get addicted and once you learn the skill of enjoying the repetetive gameplay (trust me, it is fun once you know what you are supposed to do). Also The bosses in the games are "actually challenging" if you are not over leveled which is a huge pro for me, because I like challenges, hack even the normal monsters can get pretty hard if you don't know what you are supposed to do. The music in this game, I really enjoy to, I'd recommened you listening to the soundtracks. I do not write many reviews because they are tedious, but this game I shall write because I can confidently say that it is a good game.
G.U. just keeps getting better...
Sadly though, Vol. 3 - Redemption, will be the closing point for it all. Atleast for the G.U. series. But don't let that stop you from purchasing what looks to be the best Volume in the trilogy! Haseo and co. are back for the 3rd and final time, to now finally solve the mystery of whom/what is putting players into an unwakeable comatose state. Haseo will be reciving his Xth (duel-gunner) form, Skeith will be recieving his 3rd form as well, some familiar faces from the ROOTS anime series will appear in the game, the "forest of pain" mission (from the ROOTS anime) will be available as a bonus "abyss" dungeon after the game is completed, and according to the developers, alot of the game's fighting system has been revamped, and will be faster paced and even better than in the previous 2 installments. I guess we'll just have to wait and see for the game to be released. But based on what i've seen of it, Vol. 3 looks to be the best but sadly, final chapter of G.U.
I absolutely love this game. I loved the story all the way through. I had this on my ps2 and played it allllll the time. I never got bored with it and never will. The sad part was when my ps2 died on me and stopped working. But now Years later i am finally getting a ps3 and WITHOUT A DOUBT i am getting this game to play it again. This game is the game i remember most about caused i loved it the most out of any games i have played. So if you are thinking about getting it, I say GET IT, you will not regret it.
In this final installment of this Dot hack Series, it does a great job to answer the loose ends in the 1st two games. It has a great storyline plus a secret ending when you past the 100 levels of the forest of pain that could be a light in a tunnel for the new game called Dot Hack Link which is currently in Japan right now. The main eye catcher for this game is the way how OVan's little sister is wraped around this and how come "The Pursuers" are after Ovan and what is his plan for Haseo and what is the Key of Twilght that Ovan said that he has found. Now lets talk about the controls/interface. They are quite different from the Dot Hack Infection to Quarintine. They are handy if you are a hardcore RPG gamist like me and the attacking style is way better than FFX but I love how you can switch your weapons and continue to fight with the weakness of the monsters/Player character that you are fighting against. Now the rest of the game is on you and how u think of it. To me, this is the best game of its generation and i look forward to the next installment of this franchise game.
.hack//G.U. Vol. 3//Redemption
As the G.U. trilogy draws to a close, fans everywhere cry out in joy and sorrow. Redemption promises to be more exciting than ever, with the Base Level cap being raised to 150, and atleast 4 new skills! New weapons, armors, accessorys, and even Team Mates! A new Root Town, as well as a visit to an old favourite area from the first four games (IMOQ). Haseo and Skeith both gain a new form. Skeith is stronger and looks cooler than ever! Haseo recieves two Pistols that pack quite a punch. And for those of you who cry out in sorrow at the end of GU, fear not! CyberConnect 2, the Japanese company that creates .hack, is releasing info on July 7th about a next-gen series! Will it be .hack? Find out on July 7th! Personally, I'm going to be watching DotHackers.net like a hawk!
there should be an online the world game for PS3
Think about it with the PS3's graphics engine and mic system it would be prefect maybe when we start getting into VR goggles and get the power of a PS3 into we would get something along the lines of what the .hack universe has and guys just to tell you about 3 things: R:1 was where the first anime series and then the first 4 games staring kite took place and AZURE kite is R:1 Kite....that would explain the strange relationship between them and Aida and how they just disapper
Woah, I can't believe it's coming out already! the second game just came out! ... Oh well, I'm really excited all the .hack series are AMAZING!, they make you never want to stop playing them! I really don't want this to be the end! of G.U.! it's just so great!... I'm hopeing for another .hack series after this one, Hopefully they'll have the same characters like... Haseo, Endrance, Kuhn, etc. For everyone who hasn't played any of the .hack series.... You should really played from the first 4 to G.U.! They are all worth it! Great storylines, Some of the monsters are actually scary!
Redemption, is almost here !
Actually , to an earlier post, there -WAS- an online version in Japan , which failed completely for the PS2 and PC that the server was shut down. It was meant to be an offline game in the end, afterall. And if the Japanese aren't successful with it, the chances of America having it over here is almost zero. On the preview side, only 9 more days ! This game has sometime been grindy... yes, repititive, oh god... and lack a -STRONG- story, it still manages to keep me hooked to the third series. Heres hoping the last installment will be the best of them all.
