Delta Force Black Hawk Down
it's okay if you like type of games. but the graphics kind of suck, but the game it self is okay :)
Great 1st-Person Shooter!!!
If you enjoy playing any military shooter that is based on real life combat, then this is the game for you. You progress from a Ranger to the famous SFOD-1, Delta Force. You are rated on your accuracy, resourcefulness, and teamwork, along with other important factors and earn stars to increase your teams stats, or to purchase new guns ranging from the .50 Caliber Sniper Rifle to the Car-15 with a grenade luncher. Featuring an amazing Single Player game and an ok split-screen co-op game. The only thing wrong with the co-op game is that the number of missions is cut short. The story line of this game is based on the actual events that went down in Mogodishu, Somolia and follow the progression of the mission from several weeks before that lead up to the mission to finally capturing Adid. How you accomplish the missions is up to you, accuracy with a sniper rifle or go in guns blazing with a M-60 Machine Gun. You can issue squad commands to your 4-man team that range from covering fire to planting explosives. Overall, this game is one of the best first person shooters I have ever played.
This is a really good game that they based off of the 1993 middle east war. If you have ever seen the black hawk down movie you will know that it is very interesting and good. The game is based off the movie and is really real life like. The graphics are ok but they are a bit aged. The game I think is one of the best middle east games made that I have played sure game is not perfect. But the only reason I rated it a nine is because its does not have the best graphics and the CO-OP player mode is cut short to only ten mission instead of fourteen mission on one player. But the weapons rock and you can upgrade your weapon a pick them. From a very accurate sniper to a very powerful m 60 machine gun there are like twenty guns and they are all awesome. Some guns are better for some mission. There are a lot of different mission that all are different. I would recommend it to anyone who loves modern war games! It is a great game!
this is a great game i am going to play the online tomorrow and i hope it is awesome the normal kill each other mode was sweet and fun to play the graphics are good and the storyline for 1 player is also good i really hope you get this game worth the buy!!!! so you get your self down to game stop and buy this game!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this game.It is a great first person shooter. What would make it better is if you can drive trucks like in Battlefield,Picking up Weapons,And most of all helicopters. Why make a game with Black Hawks if you can't fly them. Puting minigames in it like knife fights. But overall great game horrible graphics but i love it,Split Screen ok multiplayer back when it came out was great but now it sucks. But i love it
well.... I bought this game and when I first played it I thought it was not that good. I was right. The graphics in this game are horible. YOU CAN'T EVEN PICK UP WEAPONS!!!!! Thats cheap. i dont recomend this game for great war lovers that love intense violence, but people that sometimes get nervous with that stuff.. this game is for you. Most people dont like it because you can't sprint or quick-knife by pressing R3. Not a great game. One of the worst parts is the death matches i mean people that have practice can own and people that have never played can too. the levels are not the best and the only enemy weapons are AK-47 and a sniper. Co-op missions arent that fun. the two best ones are Radio Adid and last stand and Irene. So its not the best game so do what you think.
The Best Modern-Day War Game For PS2
This is probably the best modern-day war game for PS2. This is probably the only Somali-based game for PS2. Well for the only one, it's pretty good. The only down is, I beat the Campaign in about 2 hours. 16 missions, the only one I was looking forward to was the Black Hawk Down part, which only lasted 2 missions and one of them you were forced to use a sniper rifle. Another down is that the online play had only about 10 people on when I played, which is a little below average for most games. But this game also had many pluses. For one, you got to pick your gun before you play the mission. From assault rifles with grenade launchers, to semi-auto sniper rifles, this game had a good selection of weapons to choose from. At the end of each mission, you get rated on how well you performed, and the better you do, the more stars you get. You use those stars to buy extra ammo, health, upgrade your man to better marksmanship, endurance, leadership, and more. Also with the stars, you can buy extra guns like assault rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, and more. The gameplay was pretty good, considering you got to ride in choppers and shooting Somalian clans from above, to riding in jeeps with machine guns, to clearing out buildings with the bang, breach, and clear method. It goes from the desert, to cool nights, and then to the city where you have to avoid civilians. Also, you're getting mortar shelled while trying to cross the beach making it seem like modern-day D-Day. I have never heard of the game maker before, but they did do a decent job.
Great game and graphics
Black Hawk Down is definitely one of the best shooting games you can buy for PS2 and is 100% worth the 12.99 price tag
The campain sucks
the game had potential. Voice commendable AI, nice graphics, good game play, awesome multi-player, but the only thing...the campaign is terrible. The campaign sucks beond playablity. Although, the multi-player had me keep it. I like the multi-player since it has some good social aspects, and had me thinking I was playing Counter-Strike, due to the level design. So yeah, if you like multi-player games, you might like this.
While it does not have the detail graphics of today's PS3 or X360, or even COD of PS2, it's still respectable. The graphics might come up a bit short, the game play is where it shines! It's not a charge, shoot, and never die like COD. This game actually requires a bit of brain power than COD, nice change!
The full control of the squad is great cause not all war is an one man army, which brings a realism factor. Able to have medic to save you, exchange ammo, good touches. However, the AI squad can be a bit of bonehead. Often they don't respond to your command, can be awkward in a fire fight.
