Dance Dance Revolution: SuperNova 2 - Game Only
this game is really good for DDR gamers. the songs are great, the game modes are good, and the graphics are pretty good aswell. A lot of people say that it's terrible but I think it's SUPER under rated
Terrible but a little bit of an expected turnout.
This is not a good game for a DDR gamer like me. I'd like to state that this game is exactly what I expected it to be. I expected this to happen due to the new mission mode that came out in DDR EXTREME.I mean, it's fun but only if you are either a pro player or a god of DDR. Also one of the things I also expected were terrible song selections. I have to admit I'm a little late with buying this as i have bought it in 2010. But after seeing the DDR X and DDR S+ (for mobile touchscreen devices preferably the ipod) i knew the songs would suck. All it is is long lost hits from 2003-2006. Plus like the review below mine said, it's WAY too easy, but also WAY to hard. It's either one. Easy or extremely hard. You choose. What happened to the songs that were for in-the-middle players who used to like DDR EXTREME-like standard mode? Also the BPMs of the songs are either 102-132 or 240-400! Along with the occasional 133-225 of course. But about the 400 bpm, i like Fascination MAXX but all of the other fast songs are stupid. Volcano is an example. BUT!! The only good thing is the graphics. I like the characters and the pics but the arrows in Hyper Master mode (name wtf???) are too much. Summary: If your a pro of a newcomer to DDR, Get this game. If your a standard mode player/ fun experience seeker, DON'T GET THIS GAME!!!!
Worst DDR I've played.
I use DDR to stay in shape. I have recently bought this DDR game to add to my collection and I am extremely disappointed. If I had kept the receipt I would have returned it. The songs can't hold a beat. It's like randomly stepping to avoid burning your feet, no rhythm. There aren't very many songs and to add to that, it's extremely easy. I had one of my friends, whom is new to DDR play (Had never played) and he got an A on Difficult. The songs are all rap and Britney Spears teen baby nonsense. It's no fun to dance to music with no beat. I wish they had incorporated more techno, not that I like techno, but because it's fun to dance to. The graphics where less than DDR Extreme. I'd rather play an 8 bit Mario game with an occasional blink or two, than dealing with the lack of effort put into making the dancers in this game. To anyone wanting this game, put in the extra like 5 bucks and get X2 or Extreme1. They have great songs and make this game look like the awkward cousin who is never invited to family reunions because it has boundary issues and is a disgrace to the DDR family name.
I'm simply concerned that they'll have that same mode that you'll have to play through to unlock songs, I want to also be able to get high grades on songs without having to play them in unusual ways, but thats me, I can deal with the challange. hurray since i missed the first supernova.
I love DDR
I love DDR games all of them i have all the collection"s since PS1 came out with thier first two I have all of them in the stores now it's still very expensive to get used now but to me the arcade DDR make's it's money all the time
I have heard alot of songs from this game already and so far I am very happy with them. The only thing I am curious about is if they are going to put a new max song into it. One of the things I am worried about is it comes out on the 25th and halo 3 comes out that day as well, so I expect long lines lol.
SuperNOVA 2- expect good thins!
Although not much information has been leaked about this game, it is known thta it is going to boast one of the biggest song lists to date, including some favorite songs from SuperNOVA, like Flowers, and Honey Punch. This game is also rumored to have about 30 licensed songs- more than any DDR game to date! I expect very good things from this release.
I heard this Game was going to be really fun! I also heard that is was even better than the others. I have supernova and DDR Max 2. I love them both. Hopefully it will blow me away. I want it to be fun. Brooke
