When I stumbled across this game, i read the back cover and was very intrigued. I must say that this game captured my interest from the very beginning and i couldn't put down the controller. My personal favorite character in the whole game is Victor Delacroix, I wish he could have been the main character...but he fit in just fine where they had him. The game play was great, it takes a little bit to get used to it but once you catch on there's nothing to it. The graphics were definitely on the high end when this game out, i was very pleased by the quality and they drew me into the story even more. But by far my favorite piece of the whole game was the musical score, I came across the soundtrack for this game and burned it onto a CD to play at night. I would highly recommend this game to anyone and have actually gotten quite a few friends playing it several times.
this game is one of the most fun games i have ever played the story is deep and confusing at times but when you figure it out your like OMG no he didnt. the graphics considering its for the ps2 are simply amazing the sound is also incredable which makes the adicting and insane gameplay just simply amazing
Miss this game
Man oh man!! Chaos Legion Deserves the score but i think it should be bulked up to 10/10 :). As a child i played this game hours upon hours with pure fascination and loved this game so so much today it remains my Favorite Hack'n Slash Game of all time. Even though Capcom made it and also made the award winning Devil May Cry Series i think they should of made Chaos Legion a Series the game is absolutely flawless in my opinion for a game of its age the Graphics are Perfect in my opinion, Story is flawless and is something that will draw you into it wanting more and more. Even though i played this game as a child i always wish i had the game again to play through like old times and do even better. Must buy perfectly flawless 10/10 for this game. MUST GET AND A MUST PLAY!!!
I play a variety of game genres, and this is my second time purchasing a hack-n-slash game (the first being Legacy of Kain: Defiance). I only bought it a couple of days ago, so I'm not too far into the game yet, but it definitely had me intrigued from the start. The musical score was beautiful. Fukasawa had really outdone himself with it. The environments were gorgeously put together in such a way that they made you feel at peace, in combination with the music. The creatures you face range from minor grunts to intimidating bosses, and I think variety like that is a good thing. The controls are easy to remember too. The game itself reminds me of Resident Evil 4, but then again, they are both Capcom titles.
There Needs to be a Sequel!
This game is amazing I can't believe I returned it so this weekend I will try to get it once more to relive childhood memories, anyways this game feels a lot like Devil May Cry (That's only cause it was created by the same developers of the original Devil May Cry) and that's why I liked it so much, sure you didn't use multiple weapons in this game but you did have special guards that helped you defeat bosses, and there were very memorable moments that just seemed to really fit in. I think if Capcom really wants to get good sales for future titles they should make a sequel to this game cause I'm pretty sure it would do very successful just like Devil May Cry!
When I first heard this game came out a few years ago I liked the idea that capcom made a new idea instead of making another Devil May Cry in their series. This game contains hours of fun summoning demons to help you aid you in your battle and the best part is the stages get harder as you progress through the game!
good intill you get an xbox 360
it was one of the funnest games iv ever played it was great in graphics and sound i played it over and over but 3 years later i got an xbox 360 and got hooked to other games but i still play it time to time
