This game was about as good as Superman Returns, and that's not saying much. The common movie forced play you get with many movie games, crappy controls, and just undesirable game play overall makes you want to puke. I'm a fan of Batman, but no matter how bad I tried to make this game a good one, going back to it over and over I just could not stand playing it anymore. I don't understand how game makers can waste all that time, and this is what they have to show for it!? I can say that about many games! This game is like reading a comic, but interactive where you get to press a few buttons here and there. I soon enough traded this game in for something much more worth playing. Batman fans, don't waste your time or money, the old Batman Vengeance game was more fun to play then this, even though cartoonish at least you were playing game! You will enjoy that game much more, until Batman Arkham Asylum arrives that is!

Lots of Marvel and other movies create really bad video games that sound good and look good in the box, but really suck when you try to play it. It's either too hard, too easy, or really bad. However, Batman Begins is a really big and good exception. The graphics were pretty amazing at parts and the stealth-attacks were pretty fun to do. The game followed pretty much the same storyline as the movie, except the ending. The game went a little too fast for me, but again, it had to follow pretty much the same lines as the movie. The Bat-mobile was my favorite part, the controls amazing. The Bata-rang and his other gadgets were amazing to use, the way they connected to the environment. The game was not too easy or too hard, but I got annoyed at how some parts were too hard and others a bit too easy. All in all, the game was pretty good, but other games have been better.

I've played a few batman games, Batman Vengence really let me down, it was all too dark, i know it's suppose to be dark it's Gotham City at night, but it was just too dark and too hard, this however was really good. Instead of going head-on you need to distract the guys you'll be fighting. Either by: blowing up something, making a car alarm go off, knock over stuff. When your opponents are afraid enough they'll drop they're guns and you can fight them hand-to-hand. There's only two batmobile missions but they're well made, the batmobile is awesome your driving at top speed and such. There's extra costumes from like 90's and 70's or 80's batman looks, no Robin here, just the batman. This game is really good, you must use fear to gain the upperhand, so a more stealthy approach is required then just throwing a batarang to disarm them and beat them up.

Ever since I knew about this game I wanted it because it was based on the movie and I really did like the movie. It is so cool how you can play as Bruce Wayne in the League of Shadows. Also you have diferent weapons from you hand to hand combat to some of Batman's awesomest weapons and gadgets like his grappler and bat caller. Also in the game you use fear and you can interact with your environment to scare your enemies and gain an advantage. What's really cool is that you have so many diffferent attacks and that you have to figure out how to disarm your oponnents and that you have to make a strategy to beat your foes and that you can't charge in recklessly and think that just because you're batman that you can beat everybody. Also they even included Alfred and Racheal Dawes. If you want a challenge I recommend this game.

Batman Begins is a great game, rent it first. It's a good game you probably think it's just a copy of the movie. But it has plenty of levels and the story is pretty indevdual story line. Although it's a batman game you dont really get that menicing feeling of pure fear when your about open a door hopeing theres no one there or sneaking around a wall. The game has plenty of batman gadgets, theres even a tiny little camera type thing you put through the crack in the door to see hows there, and of corse classics like the batarang. Sometimes you grab people by the shirt to ask them questions but you have to wory sometimes you knock people out when they have valuable info and sometimes you simply waste your time with people. Even though its a movie game it isn't really as easy as you'd expect. All around great game.

As we all know most movies translate horrible into video games and superhero movies translate even worse (Superman Returns ftl.) Batman Begins happens to be an exception, now this isn't the greatest game ever but it is the best Batman game so far. The voice acting from the original actors isn't anything spectacular but it gets the job done, the incorporation of stealth is pretty neat if you like that sort of thing, and the graphic certainly aren't on the same level as Resident Evil 4's but some of the levels look really good. Overall it's a fun game, nothing great but if you like Batman its a great buy especially if all the other terrible Batman games out there. P.S The Dark Knight is the best movie of the year so far and it's going to take a miracle for that to change.

my brother got this game the third day it came out. It was a long time ago so i apologize if i don't write a whole lot. The game was not very hard it was actually really easy except for the last level it takes you a couple of tries. But on one level you ride in Batman's huge car and your riding on building's. The graphics were very good and when your on the last level the graphics look phenomenal. The game is not very long it would probably take four hours to beat. The story is very good it is about a guy who wears a bag on his head and sprays fear gas and he shoots it on Batman and now Batman's worst fears he sees. I can't remeber the controls but remember they were good so i gave them a 9. I recommend this game to Batman lovers and people who want a good story.

This is the best PS2 game i have ever played. It lets u see, what Batman would, use fear as intimidation, and your fists to finish the job. It goes deeper into the movie, like how he gets into The Asylum. Some of the storyline is changed. For example, in stead of shooting the train tracks, the batmobile explodes it, with self destruct. Also, Falcone's car is lifted with a crane, other then Batman just swooping in his car. The levels are easy, except 4 the last few levels, sometimes u have to restart. i like how they supplie batmobile bonus levels, the prototype batmobile, and alternate batsuits. I think u should be able to replay levels, other than restarting the whole game. When Batman is talking, his mouth is usually closed, which kind of annoys me.

I am a big Batman fan and don't have a PS3 or Xbox 360, so I decided to get this one for my PS2 instead of the new games. I was very impressed. It only took me a couple of days to beat, only playing for an hour or so a day. It was very good and made me want to play more. I liked how you had to look around and make use of your surroundings instead of being told exactly what to do 24/7. It was pretty easy. There were not really any really hard levels. I was able to do it all without any help or cheats, again, pretty easy. I will play again, for sure. The extra's are pretty cool as well. Overall, this was a good game.
