One of the Best!
I began playing at a swift pace, and then I just couldn't stop. The game features a great and catching story as you go. Not to mention the planes you unlock and riveting experience of taking on Aces. If your looking for a fun shooter to play look no further.

another great game from project aces
This game is awesome. it is better than ace combat 4 but not as good as my favorite fighter sim ace combat 5 the unsung war. you can battle many different aces in the "Round Tables" aka belkan airspace B7R. Squadrons like the gualts and espadas. buy and sell cool planes and spec. weapons and customize your plans appearance and become a crumy merc or knight of the skies. dont always trust your """"BUDDY"""""!!!!!!!!!!!!!!in the game

If you already have skies of decption don't get
Ace combat the belkan war is actually a really good game but if you already have Ace combat skies of deception for psp don't get. It was like when they where making the skies of deception gameplay they where thinking lets change the story and have gameplay exactly the same as Belkan war. It has giant ships, laser shots from massive towers in essence the same gameplay just slightly different. Now if you have a ps2 and not a psp get it. But buying this expecting to get a compelty different game look elsewhere.

The Ace Combat series is nice, nice!
Nothing bad to say about Ace Combat, let alone Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War.
The Ace Combat series has always been intense and easy-to-pick-up, and Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War does not disappoint.
Great storyline, great graphics.

Greatest Flying Game I've Ever Played
I am a huge fan of all flying games. I absolutely adore them, but most of them have let me down. They always end up disappointing me in certain ways. Either there controls are a bit touchy, or the story line sucks, or the design of the usage is dreadful, or they don't have a varied selection and choice of weapons, and planes. This game however was absolutely amazing. I've always been impressed with the Ace Combat series, but this game is by far the very best of the series. It surpasses all others with it's uniqueness, and story line. And even it's gameplay and mission design. This game is fantastic. Great array of options to choose from for planes, has real planes as well as a few futuristic planes just for fun, and the same thing with weapons. I would recommend this game to anyone, but I would tell people that love flying games that they need to buy this game. They have not lived until they have played this Ace Combat. I absolutely adore this game.

Great game, but....
This is a great game, but, the problems with the game I have are: when you play 2 player with someone, you can't change the angle. You only have the H.U.D., but if you're in single player you can have a cockpit view, and an outside view. Plus, there was a LOT of language in the story. The pros are: It's a very realistic game, there is a huge selection planes, weapons, and paint options for you're plane. Plus, it's very realistic because or if you break Mach 1, there's an explosion of vapor above you're plane, and it's really fun to scream in at over 1000 MPH and strafe a target with you're cannon, or ripple-fire 2 missiles at a plane to ensure you get a hit. And the enemies are VERY challenging, I was on the easiest mode and I still had trouble beating levels. Overall, this is a very challenging, but still fun game. You won't go wrong buying this, well worth the money. Good buy!

Flying high.
Ace Combat: The Belkan War is a well rounded, well put together Flight sim/arcade game. For those that have followed the Ace Combat series, it has many improvements that will be much appreciated. For players new to the series, it makes a great shooter and will most likely leave them wanting to play the rest of the series. First mention should go to the AI improvements for both allies (Namely your wingman) and enemies. Even if you're a seasoned veteran, your foes will pose a threat, their tactics change along with your own and they don't just try to run you down.. It actually feels like a dogfight. Your allies will help you immensely, weather it be attacking ground/air forces or watching your "six". My second mention goes to the improved graphics. For those of you whom have played Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, you'll notice that the graphics all around are much more smooth and more streamlined. The fighter jets look absolutely amazing, inside and out. This game has a great visual appeal. Next.. The story... It was written in a way that reveals much to veteran AC players, but doesn't spoil anything for those "newbie" players. The story also changes slightly depending on how you play the game. The "Ace System" will change enemy pilot opinions of the player. The Ace System changes depending on your actions in battle, there are three types of aces: Knight, Mercenary and Soldier respectively. Depending on which one you become, your foes will fight you differently and the story will change accordingly. It adds a new fun to the series. The sound is great as well. The voice acting and effects are top notch. The musical scores are well suited and well placed. The controls are set up for ANYONE to be able to pick up and fly away. If you can't get used to the more sim-realistic normal controls you can switch to novice mode where you needn't worry about yaw and roll. This game also has great replay value.. Between the many unlock able fighters, special paint schemes and medals there's always something to do. Add the multi-player mode and you'll have many, many hours of fun. All in all, this game does what it was designed to do.. And does it well. I recommend that everyone give it a try.
