Rated 9 out of 10 by Elendil Great ninja action game
I've been playing Ninja Gaiden games since the original NES days. They were great games then and they continue to be great games now. This installment is a unique addition to the NG cannon. It originally came out on the 360 simply known as Ninja Gaiden 2, and while NG2 was not as brutally difficult as Ninja Gaiden Black for the orginal XBOX, NG2 still proved to be formidable challenge in its own right, which (to its detriment) made it unaccessable to the casual gamer. This game fixes that, so now casual gamers can enjoy it. Overall I enjoyed it, especially since my favorite weapon, the Vigoorian Flails, can now be accessed at chapter 3 insread of chapter 9. Two of the the three additional chapters, Momoji and Rachel, are OK, but like the mini boss fights with The Buddha and the Statue of Liberty, the game could've done without. Other than Ryu, Ayane is the most fun character to play due to her combat mechanics. Overall the game is excellent, despite its minor nuisances, and can now be enjoyed by a larger pool of gamers.

This game is a great port, and a welcome addition to the Vita, a system currently lacking in great games. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus has great weapons, fast combat, and dismemberments are a great addition that make the game much more entertaining. The game does not have as much blood as the original Ninja Gaiden II for the 360, and the framerate does slow down at times, but those don't really matter because the game is very fun and although it can be challenging at times, that just adds to the fun of the game. The story isn't much, but the gameplay more than makes up for it. New to the Vita are Ninja Race and Tag Missions, and although I have yet to play Ninja Race, the Tag Missions are great and offer re playability to this game. In all, I would definitely recommend this game to fans of action games or just people who are looking for a good PS Vita game.
Rated 8 out of 10 by SGTkoopa Its Ninja Gaiden sigma 2 on a handheld
ive owned ninja gaiden 2 on both xbox 360 and the ps3. i really liked how fluid and fast the game was. The psvita version sometimes gets a bit choppy when it got hectic when there are alot of enemies on the screen. Though these didnt hinder the gameplay yet i wish it was a bit smoother. I do recommend that you pick this up if you liked the previous ninja gaiden (xbox, xbox 360, Ps3) games pick this one up because its pretty much the same
Rated 9 out of 10 by DeadpoolPR Good game no dlc!!!
A improvement over the original, blood, teams and extra modes is a plus. My complain is that the dlc never arrive even they remove it from the description. The same move to promote pre orders but never gave the code same as ashura wrath and others games. If i dont receive the dlc i will cancel all my pre orders.

When of the best games for the vita is ninja gaiden sigma plus. Finally, more mobile ninja! I would have no problem with more "re-ports". The original DMCs or Ratchet and Clank would make awesome "re-ports" too. Playstation needs to bolster the Vita's lackluster game library.

NGS+2 is worth the money, it adds to a good hobby. Play in low light for best graphics. The blood is there and I was cutting off heads arms and all that it's great.
