Product Details:

Join us in celebrating one of the most popular FINAL FANTASY stories of all time! FINAL FANTASY X|X-2 HD Remaster takes you into the adventures of Tidus and Yuna in beautiful, remastered HD. This is a bundle pack with Final Fantasy X being a Cartrige and Final Fantasy X-2 being a Download Voucher.

"The world lies on the brink of destruction. Only a select few may be able to save it."

In ages past, the world of Spira experienced a golden age of perfection, brought about by an advanced civilization through the use of wondrous machinery called machina..

However, around one thousand years before the present day, a colossal menace known only as "Sin" appeared and sundered all before it. Though a line of summoners have since brought Sin low many times, it inevitably returns in an unending cycle of destruction. In the face of this ever-pervasive threat, the people of Spira flocked to the teachings of Yevon, which tell that Sin is a punishment to those who relied overly on machina.

Tidus is a young Blitzball star that mysteriously finds himself in Spira after his home city of Zanarkand is destroyed by Sin one thousand years in the past. Believing Sin to be the key to returning home, Tidus joins a young summoner named Yuna on her pilgrimage to destroy Sin and bring about the Calm.

Characters:

Tidus is a cheerful, rising blitzball star playing for the Zanarkand Abes. He has long resented his father, who was a renowned player himself before his untimely death. Tidus's quick moves allow him to attack even the swiftest foes with ease.

"This is my story..."

Daughter of High Summoner Braska. Honest and determined, Yuna embarks on a pilgrimage to obtain the Final Aeon and defeat Sin.

Yuna is learning the mystical art of summoning Aeons - powerful spirits of yore.

"I will defeat Sin... I must defeat Sin."
"Last time she saved the world. This time its personal!"

Two years have passed since Sin was destroyed. Since her victory and becoming a high summoner, Yuna has lived on her childhood home of Besaid Island. Then one day, Rikku comes to Besaid and shows Yuna a sphere. The recording is of him. Or is it?

Yuna can't tell whether it's him or just someone who looks like him. If it is him, Yuna might be able to see him one more time. No matter what the truth may be, the answers she finds may change things forever.

Characters:

After defeating Sin, Yuna returned to her home on Besaid. The days passed without incident, but she still sensed something missing in her quiet existence. A movie sphere that Rikku showed her gave her a reason to journey once more.

For now, life as a sphere hunter affords Yuna the chance to live on the wild side. Old habits die hard, though. Yuna still can't walk away from people in need.

"Things are... disasterrific."

In the two years since she helped Yuna defeat Sin, Rikku has travelled with other Al Bhed around Spira, teaching people all there is to know about machina.

During the so-called "search for truth" that overtook Spira after Sin's defeat, a group of Al Bhed joined the ranks of sphere hunters. With their airship, the Celsius, as a base, Rikku, Buddy and Brother founded the Gullwings. Rikku invited Yuna to join the Gullwings and they have been travelling together ever since. As always, Rikku's endless supply of energy keeps the team on their toes.

"Y.R.P. In position. It's showtime, girls."

Paine is armed with a one-handed sword and a lukewarm attitude. It seems she joined the Gullwings because of something that happened in her past. However, none of the Gullwings know exactly what that might be. The often ridiculous antics fo the Gullwings tenc to prompt sarcastic remarks from Paine, but the others don't seem to worry about it too much.

"Maybe we should both let go of our past, and focus more on what's to come."

Used Version Only Includes Final Fantasy X HD. Final Fantasy X-2 HD is a digital download and will not be included.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bought used... whoops. I didn't see the box when buying this on a whim. Realized FFX2 is download only via voucher, which is fine. But not fine if it's from GameStop, as it's a high chance the code was used, which in my case it was. Hopefully they take it back or swap me for a new copy (I'll pay more). Sidenote about the game... why is the voice acting so awful?! Lol Tidus...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing game.. I got this game a month ago and finally beat it. So I figured that I would write a review. So final fantasy x is a amazing game the new features offer a lot of options. As for final fantasy x-2 back when it was released for the ps2 I never really like it but years later I finally got over it. I think the reason why was a pretty stupid reason which was atb part but once you get used to it the game really becomes addicted. I think the main reason why I got use to it is because of final fantasy 13 plus final fantasy xiv don't get me wrong this game is fit for casual and hardcore gamers and I would 100% recommended this game to everyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE This was the worst game I have ever played. Jacked up Everything. I don't know why PlayStation would make and sell this garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Instantly a must have The reason why I titled this "Instantly a must have" is because you don't have to be a Final Fantasy fan in order to appreciate this game. My wife loves the look of it and she doesn't play video games. They upped the content in a great way. Spheres are easier to get now and characters have the ability to make a fiend give one to you. Especially helpful in the begining of the game because of the Black Magic portion of the sphere grid. The graphics blew me away on the original and now they are still doing it in this re-mastered edition. I didn't give this a full 10 because of haveing to download FFX-2. If it wasn't for that piece then this would get an outstanding 10. Sound got a nine because the voices don't sync all the time in the game. This is definitely the game that I loved when I was growing up and glad they re-mastered it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT GET PRE-OWNED Pre-owned only comes with Final Fantasy X, not both as X-2 is a download, Gamestop only sells Pre-Owned Hard Copies. So unless You wanna pay a little under forty bucks for just the Pre-owned and get only one game rather than both for a little over forty, get yourself new or you'll regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reason why i bought my vita! being able to play one of if not the best final fantasy game again in beautiful hd graphics on the go is the reason i bought my vita! i absolutely love FFX and the vita version is exactly what i wanted and more! absolutely gonna sink another 100+ hours into one of the greatest games ever made! one small sidenote, FFX-2 is a pretty big download but well worth it if you have the space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Absolutely This game delivers! I'm sure you've heard that it's not as good as the ps3 version, or that the download X-2 is a dumb idea, but there's really no problem. I've been playing it almost nonstop since I got it, and I am blown away. The voice acting, graphics (yes, the vita ones are amazing, too), gameplay (although the new advanced sphere map is a bit tricky for newcomers), and story are all top notch. While I believe it is a little overrated, as is the whole Final Fantasy series, it is an amazing game, possibly the best in the series and, as far as RPG's on Vita go, the best option out there (with persona 4 golden in close second)
