Rated 2 out of 5 by from I heard it made a Dalek cry! I am a huge whovian, and Matt Smith has to be my favorite of all the Doctors. I had to decide between the Vita and 3DS, but chose the Vita for several games I couldn't get on the 3DS. This was one of them. What's good: The story (so far) and the crispness of the voices. What's bad: the graphics were terrible, which is highly displeasing given it's Doctor Who. You play both the Doctor and River, and switch between them, starting with the Doctor first. I was enjoying things despite the terrible graphics until it was time to be River. I must have played that level a million times because the square (which is pretty important) wouldn't work. I know my controls work fine since I had only have my Vita a day before purchasing this game, and I had also played other games when I started noticing the problem, but they all worked fine. When I went back to this game it continued not to work most the time. I was able to get passed the level thankfully. But as time went on sometimes other buttons didn't really want to work all the time. Having to race Cybermen was when things really got glitchy. River was slow, and sometimes would turn around and retrace steps which led me to have to replay the level again and again until I got the timing right even if she did glitch. My final straw was when not only could I not get the buttons to work properly, but the graphics would glitch and I didn't see what was chasing me until I was dead. Sadly most of the problems dealt with River before I stopped playing. I would have loved to see the story line and complete the game. Sadly I wasted time and money on something I didn't get far on. Don't waste your time, no matter how much of a Whovian you are! It isn't worth the money or frustration.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Dissapointment I am a huge doctor who fan. I own tons of collectibles and have even gone through the trouble of making a huge LEGO Dalek. But this videogame took my love for the Doctor and treated it like a slave driven Ood. I was greeted with a lovely main menu of the TARDIS whirling through the time stream and the Doctor Who theme playing proudly in the background. Loving this so far! Then...the game started...I was greeted by mediocer graphics. "Uh oh" I thought to myself. But might I instantly say the voice acting is great! The Doctor and River Song are voiced by their respective actors and its great to hear those fimiliar voices! But as the game went onward I was highly underwhelmed. The graphics where bland except for the backgrounds and the TARDIS. The side scrolling presentation lacked the "RUN!" feeling that the show convays, I never felt as though I was in any danger, even with Daleks, Cybermen, and The Silence lurking about, I was always more concerned about what door I need to open than if i was going to be exterminated. Almost all the puzzles revolve around switching between the Doctor and River to complete a task (Open a door, sneak past a Dalek, reach a high ledge, ect) The puzzles are bland and don't pose much of a challenge (Until you run into deadlock seals then things get slightly frustrating) There are four time periods of London that you must travel through to find out what the elusive Eternity Clock is. The story feels a lot like the episode "The Pandorica Opens" because of this mysterious object that the Doctor doesnt know about. Despite the similarity I enjoyed the story, really the only reason I didnt quit the game! While the game had some fun moments it was bogged down by lackluster graphics, terrible gameplay, and more glitches than you could fix with a sonic screwdriver. The only reason to buy this game is for the fun story and good sound design. But after I finished the game I promptly hit DELETE!!!
