PlayStation Vita System with WiFi
A Worthy Successor to the PSP
I have owned every single one of Nintendo's handhelds, as well as both Sony's PSP and Vita. I honestly will say this one is the best. The console fits in my hands and isn't giving me arthritis like my 3ds is. I really like the fact I can play PSone games on it, as well as all of the Vita games. Streaming PS3 games via PSNow is still expensive, but with the subscription it is not too bad. The only downside with the Vita is that the screen is large and needs to be protected against scratches with a carrying case. While the game library (excluding the PSP, PSone, PS2, PS3, and PS4 games you can play on it) is kind of small compared to the 3ds, there are still many great games from all of the different genres. I own dozens of Vita titles, and my Vita library is larger than my 3ds library even though they both have great games. I just enjoy playing on this console more.
Best handheld system
I bought this thing when it was first released and I hated it because it didn't have much support at the time. I bought it about a year later and couldn't be happier. The ability to play psp, ps one and vita games is great, every week sony will release their week long deals and a lot of the old stuff is fairly cheap. It also is not region locked so you are able to play foreign games on it as well. It also has streaming with the ps4 and you can use the vita as another controller (although the controller set up is weird, compared to the ps4). I bought this thing at least 4 times, not because it broke, but because I wanted to give it as a gift to friends/ family. There are cons to this device, if you get the original vita, it contains an OLED screen so it uses more power, which means less battery life. The slim version uses an LED screen so the resolution isn't as great as the original, but the battery life will last longer. The original vita battery life will last about 6-8 hours of continuous play, while the slim will last 10 hours of continuous play. Also another con is that Sony made SD cards specifically for the vita and a normal micro SD card doesn't work. Overall it is a fun handheld system that kills time.
This thing is frickin amazing
I love the streaming to my ps4, it works great with no input lag. I also use it when i dont have access to my ps4.
I bought this ps vita because I was happy with the one my brother had in the past. I under stood that the ps vita would not turn on unless it has charged enough to do so. Usually it s takes about 10-15 minutes. Well this one took 8 hours. And that was only to turn it on, it still was on low battery. I charged it overnight with no change. I charged it two more days and nights with so no progress. Online i found no fixes for the charge problem. Sony offered to replace it for $250 and had no explanation for why it did this in the first place. Thankfully Gamestop replaced it with another one. Unfortunately that one had the same problem. I even tried other chargers to see if it was the game stop charger that was faulty. Finally I returned it and bought a new one and am having no problems. I believe the problem isn't Gamestop's fault although before they accept trades they should test them first. Perhaps its just a matter of testing before buying/trading. I dont know, but i am very pleased with the brand new one i bought.
I bought this one in store at gamestop and it is perfect like brand-new product, except that you need to charge it for 10mins before use for first time, after that all good. And i got no problem with this. Recommend this for who wanna cheap PS Vita :)
