Excellent Game, Multiplayer Buggy
Victoria II is one of the most in depth and epic strategy simulators I have ever had the fortune of stumbling upon. Its thought into the historical depth and background is absolutely astonishing, and is one of the more impressive in the Paradox line-up of games. If you wish to conquer the world on your own in single player, this game is for you! Those looking to conquer with friends, however, will have a much more difficult time. The infamous 'out of sync' issue occurs so often and without fail, that it makes this game next to impossible to play with friends, even on LAN connections. If you wish to enjoy an immersive experience on your own, with a stunning story, more than adequate graphics, captivating soundtrack, and a complex system of gameplay, then this is the game for you. Sadly, you can't bring your friends along for the ride.
