PC Gaming has never been easier

Product Details:

We live in a complex world. The more advanced it gets, the more vulnerable it becomes. We've created a house of cards. Remove just one and everything falls apart. Black Friday, a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City and, one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, the agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.

Test Chamber - We Take Back Madison Square Garden In The Division

by Wade Wojcik

Since The Division was first announced nearly three years ago, Tom Clancy and shooter fans alike have been eagerly awaiting to experience its version of post-apocalyptic New York City.

With the release date approaching, and hype ramping up, Matthew Bertz and I take a look at one of the early missions in the game: infiltrating Madison Square Garden and evicting the armed vagrants within. Check out the action in the vid below!

When society falls, your mission begins.

Take Back New York
Welcome to a new generation experience in a persistent and dynamic environment, where exploration and player-progression are essential. Teaming up with other Division agents, your mission is to restore order, investigate the source of the virus and to Take Back New York.

A Living and Breathing World
Enter a universe where the time of day and weather conditions deeply impact your gaming experience. Use the environment to a strategic advantage to dominate fights and ambush your enemies.

Urban Jungle
New York City is being overrun by hostile groups that are trying to take advantage of the crisis. One such group is The Cleaners, who travel throughout the city wherever the contagion levels rise. Wearing hazmat suits and wielding flamethrowers, the Cleaners leave nothing but ash in their wake.

The Agents of the Division
Trained to act independently from any chain of command, Agents are autonomous and adaptive, working alone or in small groups. They are the last line of defense, activated when all else fails to save what remains.

Gear Up
As a member of The Division, harness state-of-the-art technology. Customize your character and your back-pack, your lifeline in the event of a collapse, and communicate with the other agents at all times with your smart watch. Customize and level up your weapons. The choices you make will help forge a recovery or plunge the city deeper into chaos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was skeptical... I was really skeptical to buy this game due to the bad reviews it has.. Well I have spent 30 plus hours in game and It is one of a kind. It is defiintley more of an RPG than a shooter. It is similar to army of 2. I love this game and I can not wait to see what the DLC has to offer when it is released.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problems on PC!!! Game will not start or starts the opening cutscene, then immediately hard crashes to either the Uplay homepage or the Desktop! Even after configuring and changing aspects of the resolution from my GFXSettings.Rogue file and closing any tabs that were still open. It is literally unplayable at it's current state on my end!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Taking Back the Reviews. One bullet at a time. The game is a LOOT shooter rpg like Destiny/Borderland. As such, The Division has done that and more. The general story is that you are a sleeper agent for a secret government agency that only activates when society collapses. Fair enough. Visually, the game is great. You can run around the streets and appreciate all the minor details that ubisoft has put into the game. Gameplay wise, the Division uses a cover to cover game with "skills" that can help turn the tides to your favor from deploying cover to healing your character over the health limit which can be unlocked by doing both main missions and side missions. These skills will help you in the Dark Zone. The Dark Zone is a Player Vs. Environment Vs. Player. Other players can help you fight the npc in the Dark Zone. At the same time, those players can kill you. Any loot that you pick up will stay on you until you "extract" them by helicoptor. If you die while in the Dark Zone, any items you gathered while in the Dark Zone will drop along with some exp and Dark Zone money. If you kill a player, you will be labeled as a Rogue in the Dark Zone and will have a marker locating your current position on the mini map. If you manage to get to Rogue level 5 aka Man hunt, your current position will be displayed on both mini map and full map until the Rouge time limit goes to 0. How long the time limit last depends on the current Rouge Level. But if you die as a Rouge, you will lose more Dark Zone Money, exp, and loot. If you manage to survive the Rouge time limit, you'll be rewarded with Dark Zone currencies and exp. All in all, it's a good game that will have it's first update in the next two weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but repetitive at times The Division's gameplay is quite good for what it is, but it's not much more then that. I found the game to be quite enjoyable, but it doesn't get much deeper then what you'll see in any video for it. The thing that impresses me the most is how well the game is optimized. I'm running the game at High-Ultra and maintaining around 80fps and the only glitch I found was where the display for your stats stops updating (but you are still affected by the changes) Overall I'd recommend The Division to anyone who likes 3rd person, cover based, shooters.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed! I'm glad I got this game free for buying a new video card. This game is not impressive to me. Running all over a map to collect inventory plus completing side missions is the main objective and boring as all get out. If I knew it was a connected always game (multiplayer in game if you chose to add the always online players to your group) I wouldn't have even bothered installing. Too many people connected to the servers makes you wait to play. I rarely play multiplayer and the always online presence with the multitude of players at once detracts from the story line and game play. Multiplayer should have been separated from single player.
