Product Details:

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. is set in a not-too-distant future, as the era of the nation-state draws quickly to a close, and the rules of warfare begin to evolve rapidly. More and more nations become increasingly dependent on Private Military Companies (PMCs) - elite mercenaries with a lax view of the law. The Reykjavik Accords further legitimize their existence by authorizing their right to serve in every aspect of military operations. There goes the neighborhood...

Tom Clancy's HAWX lets you become a pilot of the future; it is an awe-inspiring game primed to revolutionize the way you think about combat in the sky. Cutting-edge technology, devastating firepower, and intense dogfights bestow this new title a deserving place in the prestigious Tom Clancy franchise.

Key Features

  • ENHANCED REALITY SYSTEM (E.R.S) E.R.S. is in-game technology that helps turn novice aviators into elite pilots of the future. The Enhanced Reality System is the backbone of your flight experience: radars and incoming missile detection, damage control system, tactical map and information relay, and weapons trajectory control. E.R.S. also allows you to issue orders to your squadron, making this system as iconic to Tom Clancy's HAWX as the Cross-Com system is to Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter!
  • DUAL GAMEPLAY Want to ease into your flight missions and gain a level of comfort? Turn on the assistance mode and take full advantage of your E.R.S. Need to evade your enemy and execute advanced dog-fighting moves? Switch off the assistance mode and feel the adrenaline rushing through your veins as you play in stunning 3rd person views.
  • INNOVATION IN MULTIPLAYER For the first time ever in the Air Combat genre, experience the entire solo campaign in JUMP IN/JUMP OUT co-op mode. In PVP mode, challenge your friends in intense dog-fighting sessions and find out who's the top gun.
  • REALISM AND AUTHENTICITY Take the throttle of over fifty of the world's most famous aircrafts. Dogfight over the most realistic and modern landscapes as the elite pilot of tomorrow. With support from NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Tom Clancy's HAWX goes supersonic with its authenticity and breathtaking graphics.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Game I'm and Flight Sim person I waited for the release of the HAWX for some time. After reading the reviews which were not to good, I purchased the game. I have to agree this is by far the best flight shooter to be released yet. I have the flight SIM Falcon 4.0 which is a combat flight SIM due to it's long missions and never seems to change the mission scope up much I was ready for a all out right shooter to be released. Yes this is by far not a flight Sim but it gets to the point combat air and ground is bound to keep that long boring fly to target bomb get out and long boring flight back to base out of the PIC. The graphics are great I wised Microsoft would get with UBISOFT and learn how to add the graphics to Flight SIM X. I do recommend this it's worth the Buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a fun for what it is!! If your expecting a professional flight simulator look else where. This is a good looking, fun 3rd person shooter that will keep you entertained for a day or two. It gives you a break from sneaking down datk hallways and shoot the **** out of some bad guy. Take it for what it is, a good distraction from the regular, formulated shooters out there. It's got good graphics, with the right system, and keeps you entertained if played in small intervals, like Burnout Paradise. If you want a technical fight simulator, this ain't it. it should have benn priced lower, but I'm sure that will happen soon enough. But for know take it for what it is, a pressure release vlave for the times when you just feel like blowing the crap out of something that isn't a mutant or zombie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is not a flight Simulator... This is a flight shooter type game. Please don't compare this game to other flight simulators. This is not a flight simulator. This is more a shooter type game that is in the air. In my opinion the graphics are great and well worth the money. I have the 3d glasses and the 3d effect on this game is awesome. As far as story line play it's kind of short, but you can create your own story with online play. The installation was smooth and flawless. The planes are rendered beautifully and the environment is the best that I have seen so far. If you play the story line you may find it a little easy to play. (AI) Artificial Intelligence is not challenging enough. But then again you can fight with other players that can be more challenging,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from When the hardest mode just isn't hard enough. When I played the campaign from start to finish in one day on elite mode (it took 8 hours) I expected the difficulty to be nigh impossible to do on your own. But unfortunately it wasn't very challenging to the point where I needed the 4 player co-op. The story line was satisfactory, it didn't really draw me in, and there wasn't any unexpected twists. It was more like "there is the enemy, kill them" kind of plot. The graphics are pretty good but the minor details were lacking such as a working heading/speed indicator, or even the ability to land your aircraft which helps me be drawn into the game. When I went on multiplayer I didn't see anyone in co-op mostly everyone goes in team death-match. Overall it's a game that has it's strong points such as length, and graphics. But has enough weak points where I know I'll lose interest in the coming months.
