Peggle Review
Well I myself have been a gamer for many years now. I've battled Bowser in world 8 and I've dropped many Helgast on their own planet so I can say I've been around the gaming world. When I got Peggle, I had received a demo of it when I had first installed The Steam Network, and again from the World of Warcraft launcher. Even a few of my friends had played it before but I had no interest in playing a casual game. Scheduling and work made it however that I would find myself with moments of time where I would have time to spend playing a small game for maybe 20 minutes. Not long enough for a long game, but short enough for Peggle. Peggle, can best be easily described as a Pachinko-esque game in which a player is given 10 balls to try and eliminate all the orange colored pegs from a screen. The pegs can be decorated according to the theme of the world, or can be nice and random. Simple. But of course the game makes it nice and fun by adding different power ups that you earn as you complete more of the game, ways of obtaining more balls, and of course the best thing a game like this could have, competitve multiplayer. The same rules apply in the 2 player modes as the first. First to eliminate the orange pegs, wins it. . . but wait, the game also has a point system involved. Points can be obtained by shooting multiple pegs with one ball, style shots, and of course Extreme Fever shots. In short, Peggle is an oustanding casual game for anyone with little time to kill. It's a fast, easy, and rewarding game for anyone to try. Be it the one player adventure, the two player competitive play, and even the Challenge Modes for those die hard Peggle Pros. Definately a must play game!
