Rated 3 out of 5 by from is okay I'm a rather large enough mortal kombat fan. I've played a few of the kombat games like deadly alliance and Armageddon. It's not too bad of a game there are a lot of differences between alliance and Armageddon. let's start with the differences between deadly alliance and mortal kombat komplete edition. deadly alliance has different coins to bet with against another player. and like everything else you gamble you may lose. this edition doesn't have that. deadly alliance has a krypt that has coffins and once you purchase it with the right set of coins you get what's inside in and there is no gory what that of the komplete edition has. in the mortal kombat 9 has people ripped apart, people that are hanging from a tree get this ooze like stuff forcefully into the stomach and then that same character busts out wide open, or impaled with a coffin looking thing with spikes inside it. In Armageddon has none of the graphically gruesome stuff in it. in Armageddon you get to run around in the difference areas of a map to problem solve some of the puzzles that are in it like in shao khans fortress where there are spike balls rolling down a hill and if you do it wrong you get to become road kill. in Armageddon you get to play all of the characters that were ever released in all the games komplete edition you do not get that chance. there is no map to explore there is no extra character to mess around with, there is no betting of any kind the pro's to the komplete edition is that you get to challenge anyone that is online over the internet to a challenge match either tag team or a single character match. the story mode is straight forward you encounter a character while in story mode you have to kick it's butt to go further. there is a lot of gory graphics that I don't like too well and that is why I gave it a rather lowered score then what I would have other wise.
