IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover
Do not Confuse this with a typical Game!
This is a game but its borderline a simulator! You need to know how to fly a plane to have fun playing this game. It takes A LOT of practice before you will become proficient enough in it to compete against the rest of the world. This game is great if you love precision, calculation, and timing. Team work and coordination is vital in this game. Because of this, this game is timeless and will never get boring or repetitive like games of other genres.
Very complex and too realistic
My first thought when I started up the game was "this does not look like any other Ubisoft game I've ever seen". When I bought this game I thought it would be some awesome, easy, cool WW2 fighter plane game. It is a WW2 fighter plane game, but the controls are very VERY complex. I CAN'T EVEN PASS THE TRAINING MISSION!!! I have a Xbox 360 controller receiver hooked up to my PC. But, this game does not support Xbox controllers. I saw on steam that it that it supports controllers but later I found out, after I bought the game, that it meant some joy stick thing and keyboard ONLY. This is my fault, I know, but I just think that this game should only be played by people who want a very realistic (maybe just too realistic), challenging, money consuming game. BTW I just wrote this review about an hour after I got this game AND I HATE IT! (The games below are easier, better combat flight simulators. They are still realistic)
