The major drawbacks are that it's vista and you need a like account. Apart from that the game is cool and has more levels than combat evolved. Sadly, no one is online so you have to enjoy the campaign.

Supperb even today...
This game is epic.... That campaign is fun but does not really have a lasting appeal for me, it is fun for maybe an hour and I am ready for the always fun multiplayer. Endless hours of multiplayer ,20 sum maps, an extensive armory of weapons and head to head combat with teams or a free for all bananza. Best part of this game is it has achievements most people may not care but its a bonus. And yes it does work for windows 7 with or without a patch or crack. Its for vista or up. Have fun halo fans I know I will.

Great Game
This is one great game! I've played the console version, and found skulls, and it's one great game! The PC version is great to play online, and I hope to be able to buy this. I'm wondering if it works on Windows 7.

Fun
I just finished the campaign and it was pretty epic. Also, killing tartarus and the other brutes was really fun. Great multiplayer as well. I would recommend buying this, especially if you want to understand the halo story.

Very good
Pros: Classic halo game. Master chief. Dual shock. Sweet weapons and vehicles. Map editor.
Cons: Windows vista is required.

One of the best PC shooters ever...
Aside from the killer cliffhanger at the end, the only real problem with this game is that not a lot of people play it. The new weapons (at the time) are fun, and finally being able to use the Energy Sword is a blast. Plus, the graphics aren't too bad, but that's actually why (sorry XP users) it's only on Vista or better. But in a nutshell, if you liked Halo 1, buy this. 'Nuff said.

Great game
The game is great, only one thing I don't like. I don't like the new pistol. In the first one the pistol was one of the most powerful guns in Halo 1. Now in Halo 2 the pistol ic a puny piece of junk. To kill some one you have to waist almost three clips. The things I do like are every thing other than the pistol.
