Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn 60-Day Subscription
First MMO I ever played loved it!
It is a great game tons of things to do. Easy to make friends and play with. Join a company to help you out more. So many different classes and jobs you will be playing for hot minute. At times it can become boring if you play by yourself for a while. It was difficult at first for me because I knew nothing as to how an MMO works or rules and such. The playing style takes a little while getting use to if you lack a little common sense like me. ^^ The first friend I made is actually the person who helps me train and level up the most. I bother the company I am in with many questions and get a lot or responses from different people which is great. The graphics are good I have no complains. Scenery is lovely you get different kinds of settings. To be honest I wish there was a major guide book for this game. Well I hope this review helps. If you do decide to get the game and end up choosing the world Mateus my name is Lunalesca Sakura friend me!!!! XD let's all have fun together.
Lasting MMO appeal
At first I was a little bit skeptical when I first picked up this game to play, but now I enjoy it quite a bit. It is nothing like WoW or any other MMO because it has a totally different appeal to it and shall I say a much nicer community of people.
I took me awhile to adjust to the gameplay methods and tactics as I used to be a WoW player but grew tired of that specific MMO and I am glad I did..
Great main story, Cut scenes, lots of different classes to pick and play, lots of other side missions, the card game triple triad, and the golden saucer. It has a long lasting appeal and with Heavensword on its way I think it will be even more awesome
A Realm Reborn
[Please note that this review is for the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn. I do not have either of the PS3 or PS4 versions.]
While Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 had its difficulties from launch, Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn has risen above the problems of its first iteration. The graphics requirements are a bit more forgivable for some of the older machine, owners of higher end PCs can crank the settings for gorgeous visuals.
Players familiar with WoW or SWTOR should feel at home with the game mechanics and UI.
This game is amazing if you..
like a challenge, a good community, and good gameplay. I've played GW, WoW, CoH, Rift, GW2, DCUO, The Secret World, Wakfu, and League of Legends and this is, by far, one of the best games I have ever played. If you're expecting a WoW clone, don't bother; FFXIV requires patience and persistence as well as a good attitude. This game, in my opinion, is superior to most MMO's in every way possible. Instead of grinding 10 characters as one horribly engineered "class/profession" each, you can level all classes and all professions on ONE character. You don't seem to ever run out of things to do, either. The community is very helpful and usually cheerful and fun as far as I've seen. My questions weren't answered with trolling and shrieks of try-hards, but rather several polite answers and even an invite to a very helpful and kind guild (haven't seen that since CoH). I've been waiting for a game like this ever since Blizzard destroyed WoW and let it become overrun by angry 12 year olds who hate having to think critically and love making everyone around them miserable for the sake of entertainment. The graphics are beautiful and it stays true to the spirit of the Final Fantasy games. The NPCs are interesting and have made me laugh several times. Give this a try! If you're an old school MMORPG player, I think you'll enjoy it. :)
It's fast, easy and surprising high quality. It's a thick card for being a time card and it comes in a "dvd" box. It's kinda cool but odd. I didn't except it to be what it was. I thought it was a game when it came in the mail.
Don't waste your time.
got this game when it came out. expecting something at least half way decent. this game is trash, dont waste your time and money. go play wow or gw2.
