Product Details:

Dishonored is an immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Creatively eliminate your targets with the flexible combat system as you combine the numerous supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal. Pursue your enemies under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head on with weapons drawn. Regardless of your actions, the outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make.

Dishonored is set in Dunwall, an industrial whaling city where strange technology and otherworldly mysticism coexist in the shadows. You are the once-trusted bodyguard of the beloved Empress. Framed for her murder, you become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card. In a time of uncertainty, when the city is being besieged by plague and ruled by an oppressive government armed with neo-industrial technologies, dark forces conspire to bestow upon you abilities beyond those of any common man - but at what cost? The truth behind your betrayal is as murky as the waters surrounding the city, and the life you once had is gone forever.
  • Improvise and Innovate - Approach each assassination with your own style of play. Use shadow and sound to your advantage to make your way silently through levels unseen by foes, or attack enemies head-on as they respond to your aggressiveness. The flexible combat system allows you to creatively combine your abilities, supernatural powers and gadgets as you make your way through the levels and dispatch your targets. Improvise and innovate to define your play style.
  • Action with Meaning - The world of Dishonored reacts to how you play. Move like a ghost and resist corruption, or show no mercy and leave a path of destruction in your wake. Decide your approach for each mission, and the outcomes will change as a result.
  • Supernatural Abilities - Teleport for stealth approaches, possess any living creature, or stop time itself to orchestrate unearthly executions! Combining your suite of supernatural abilities and weapons opens up even more ways to overcome obstacles and eliminate targets. The game's upgrade system allows for the mastery of deadly new abilities and devious gadgets.
  • A City Unlike Any Other - Enter an original world envisioned by Half-Life 2 art director Viktor Antonov. Arkane and Bethesda bring you a world where industry and mysticism collide, creating an atmosphere thick with intrigue. The world is yours to discover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very creepy but well done game. Dishonored is a excellent and creepy game. The Reason I said that is because there are many rats in the game and attack in a pack and there is one person you kill she turn into a bunches of rats. My, gaming experience is very good but left me scared of rats.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A set back So i like FPS but this was horrible after 9 hours it did not tell you any back story. Just all of a sudden you come home and the empress you are supposed to to protect dies IN THE BEGINNING that happened. It just lost lure there really is no lure. Its sad for video gamer's. Yes it is worth a try but i dont recommend to play if you have other games to play. This game would be the last game on my list to play ever again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Assassin's Creed? Horrible compared to this.. I Love my stealth games and this game succeeded in something that the AC series couldn't do for me, immerse me in the game. All parts of the gameplay are fluid, the graphics are good, the story is perfect and the characterization is done so well. This game is truly the greatest game I have picked up since Red Dead Redemption.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! This game is one of the BEST I have ever played! Everyone should totally look into this. Only bad thing I would say is the graphics are a little bit uneasy for some people. That's like the only "bad" thing about this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique gameplay, amazing story To start off i downloaded this game about three days after it came out, i had been waiting ever since i saw the first trailer for it. As soon as i started it up and began playing, i could tell this was a game that was going to be unlike most other first-person action games out there. At first it felt like a hybrid of bio shock but as i got further in it became clear that it was completely different. There were many twists and turns and plot twists that kept me interested, i found it extremely hard to pull myself away from it. Unfortunately the sneaking in the game was a little to difficult in a way that some places in the game are almost impossible to sneak around in, this upset me because i knew i was going to get the bad ending, which although was surprisingly good. I was overall very satisfie with the game and will definately be trying to acheive the good ending in the near future. DISHONORED!!! Revenge really does solve everything.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So close Well, I was ready for some great gaming after the ads and got drawn into the trailer movie. I should know better by now but when there is next to nothing out there for pc gamers I jumped all over this one. There is next to nobody else but you in this game and interaction with the environment does not exist. Don't vlow your money, wait for the price to drop. The wheel of your weapons and powers is much like Prototype but at least that game had people in it. Easy game to get through on hard setting.Nice to look at but agin that's all you can do is look. Obvious paths to take because the game itself guides you without coming right out and saying so. Which means not a lot of playing room and after all that's come along I would think every game would have an open game play layout to it. This would be good at $25 but no more than that. What I did like was the powers they make available to purchase but by the time you have enough money for all, the game is over with 8 levels in 2 somewhat seperate scenarios so it is cut in half to some extent. So your done with the game when you should be just getting into your character and the feel for it. The game looked to be very promising and it was, but it was only a promise. I guess we will have to wait until DH 2 comes out now that they made a ton of money from this teaser game. Let's hope so anyway.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dishonorable The story was weak, not because it was linear, but because the narrative was simplistic i.e. good vs evil, the way it tried to make the player care about it by tugging at their heart strings from the start - the murdering of a mother in cold blood right before her daughter. Or how poorly written it was i.e. adding plot elements such as your magic abilities by some demi god who just took pity on you “for the journey ahead”. Seemed to much like a fairy tale that I was read at bedtime when I was a kid.
