PC Gaming has never been easier

Product Details:

Two decades have passed since the demonic lords, Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, set out across the world of Sanctuary on a vicious rampage, twisting humanity to their unholy will. Yet for those who battled the Prime Evils, the memory fades slowly. When Deckard Cain returns to the ruins of Tristram Cathedral seeking clues to defeat new stirrings of evil, a fiery harbinger of doom falls from the heavens, striking the very ground where Diablo once entered the world. This fire from the sky reawakens ancient evils and calls the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells once again.

  • Explore fully realized realms of Sanctuary - the living, breathing gothic fantasy world of Diablo III - rendered in gorgeous 3D.
  • Battle the unholy forces of the Burning Hells with all-new character classes such as the otherworldly Witch Doctor, or with re-imagined warriors from Diablo's past, like the powerful Barbarian.
  • Rain Hell on your enemies and use the interactive environment as a weapon: lay cunning traps, turn destructible objects against your foes, and use environmental obstacles to your advantage - all powered by the Havok physics system.
  • Experience the intensity of multiplayer Diablo III over an all-new, wickedly enhanced Battle.net platform with numerous enhancements to make connecting with your friends easier, and cooperative gameplay more fun.

Important Information:

If you are a fan of Diablo III be sure to check out the latest Diablo III: Reaper of Souls expansion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Diablo 3 got much better over the years Diablo 3 started off rough, but the expansion and its future updates - especially the removal of the stupid real money auction house - have rounded it out into probably the best loot-focused action RPG. Insane levels of replay value, but grinding out bounties and Greater Nephalem Rifts does get old after hundreds of times. They have continued to add gear, areas, and the seasons keep it fresh. Worth your time, especially at the current price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lackluster for a Long Wait Growing up with Diablo 2, my brothers and I were extremely excited to hear this was going to be released. When it finally came out, the NA servers were crashed for nearly 24 hours. I'm not so much upset with that as I am with the gameplay though. Compared to previous titles you're not getting very much of a game. They made everything too simple and less exciting. The darkness of Diablo was sucked out and put into StarCraft. If I were to rate this in relation to the other games in the series I would give it a 3 at best but in relation to all games that play like it I believe it's a 6. If you're looking for a dungeon crawling RPG you're better off with Torchlight 2 or the free steam game Path of Exile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So well done!! The game looks, controls and sounds excellent!! It is the perfect top down RPG for me. One does not need a high end PC to play it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Every bit as mediocre as Diablo 2 was great As a lover of everything Blizzard had ever put out other than Starcraft, I was super excited to play Diablo 3. Upon the start the graphics were nice and I looked forward to a good experience, and indeed I started having fun until my character leveled up and I got to see how they'd absolutely destroyed what, IMO, was the very best part of Diablo 2, and that was the ability to choose to play the game as whichever hero suited your style of play. Better yet, in Diablo 2, each of the heroes could be further specialized to really fit YOUR favorite style of play, be it an up front hack and slasher clickfest, or someone who liked to sit in the background, helping keep your party alive without doing too much of the fighting yourself, only occasionally needing to click, or, effectually, an anti-click fest. Diablo 3 took the ability to play anything other than pretty much a click fest character away. As a Diablo veteran, I knew the tricks, knew what to expect, but found myself heartily disappointed. In Diablo 3, all the dungeons are in the same place every time. All the randomization which made it so you could play Diablo 2 over and over again with different characters and end up with an entirely different map was gone. The only good thing remaining from Diablo 2 was finding random objects and there being a seemingly endless # of different objects. I suppose for someone who loved the clickfest hero in Diablo 2, there's a chance of enjoying it, only don't expect to be able to have as much say over your stats as you used to. Now, I can't say for certain as I haven't played Diablo 3 in awhile (really not at all since a few weeks after I first got it) but apparently they've now taken out the town portal and identify scrolls. In Diablo 2, these items were necessary, but only until you completed quests for someone who had the power to identify items, so you no longer had to, and the need for town portal in both games significantly decreases as you get more and more portal locations which allow you to jump all over the map. Thus, I'm not sure I see this as a big deal. All of that said, there was one feature I found to be, well, both aggravating and interesting/exciting at the same time, and that's the ability to play multiple characters, and have them all share in the ability to trade items with one another, and share money as well, so if you're playing hero A, but in your loot is a super-groovy-cool item usable only by characters playing hero B, no longer are you forced to trade it in for a paltry amount compared to what it's really worth. Instead, you can just give it to another hero in the same account who CAN use it. I also really liked the ability to find heroes in the dungeon and add them to your party. In Diablo 2, you were always able to get an archer to follow you, but in Diablo 3, you will meet a multitude of people throughout the adventure, and they will level up with you. Still, however, I found the limitations in building a character up just the way you wanted, to suit YOUR game to be too off-putting. Get onto Steam and play Path of Exile or if you haven't already played Diablo 2, get the battlechest and play that. You'll enjoy it far more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why all the hate? This game is great and I would recommend it to any lover of the action RPG genre. I don't know why so many people seem to hate it because I can't see anything wrong with it. Lots of fun and lots of loot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tons of lasting fun Diablo 3 has been one of my favorites since release. It has tons of depth, and it allows you to build your characters to suit your favorite playstyle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great improvement with patch 2.0 Blizzard decided to get rid of the auction house and redid the game like the console version. the gamne is a blast now, not just a shop for items and people botting/looting to make money off selling gear. Blizzard fixed diablo 3

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loot 2.0 is in and the Game is finally good again! So loot 2.0 is now live and with it came a whole new game. This is what D3 should have been at launch and it would have been a great game. They are removing the AH and RMAH. They put in Paragon levels shared between characters. So no more needing to log on to your highest paragon to fight with your friends. The difficulty levels make this game as hard or as easy as you want while still giving you good loot for the time spent. The gameplay seems to have improved with the new classes changes and the difficulty ramp up is not as harsh since you are more in control of it. I have had little to no server lag like i had at launch, and may try another Hardcore character. My last hardcore character was killed by server lag so that turned me off of the idea for awhile. The story is still the same, but the better loot makes that game feel fresh each run. Some loot that drops has buffs to specific skills for your class which can make you want to try new skills and not stick to the cookie cutter build every run. I hope you guys are enjoying this new patch as much as I have been, because this really did breath new life into this game for me.
