Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's not as bad as people say. Although this game has been out for a good long while I decided to download this game and give it a try (Steam). Why not? It only costs roughly $10 now. GAMEPLAY: I haven't played into much of the magic aspect of the game being a warrior throughout my playthrough and the combat system is gratifying. You have to block enemies blows and strike back at the right moments or you'll end up dead while using up all your potions. There is the infamous kicking involved in this process but it's this kind of sword and shield combat that lets you also use the environment when needed that more games should take up on. STORY: The story is a very classic story and you pretty much can predict what's going to happen about halfway through the plot. There's one part that I liked about the story the most. (Without trying to give any SPOILERS) You make a good/evil choice at this one point in the game but they do it in a way that makes it so you actually get to choose. They don't sit you there, like most games do now-a-days with these choices, and say "Do you want to go rob a bank and beat up old people?" or "Would you like to save a cat from a tree and help the elderly cross a street?". This game does it in a nonchalant way where it's not even a mission to make this choice and you have to sort of go out of your way to do it. OVERALL: If you're a PC gamer (saying PC because apparently the 360 version is awful compared to this one) and are looking for a good 11-13 hour single player/fps/rpg game that's at a decent price, then get this game.
