Crysis 2 Maximum
While many were disappointed to see that Crysis 2 was not like its predecessors (Crysis and Crysis Warhead), I thought that it's a good standalone game. The story is excellent (better than that of the first game) and while the gameplay style has changed dramatically, I like the new gameplay style. It's much faster paced and allows you to use the environment more. The graphics are (in my opinion) better than those of the first game if you are running it at maximum ("Ultra") settings with the High-Resolution Textures Pack and DirectX 11 enabled. Multiplayer is...meh, better than Crysis Wars but it's not worth buying the game just for MP. Overall, it's definitely a great buy, but it's also a drastic change from Crysis.
Nice graphics, but really short
While the story was good and graphics amazing, this game was finished in 17 hours, and I was exploring during the whole game finding the secret spots along the way. I was on the average setting, and even died quite alot as I had never played Crysis before and was getting used to what the suit and weapons could do. I think now that I know how to use the suit, I could probably run through it again in 10 hours. All in all is a visually beautiful game, but considering the length of play time, glad it was on sale.
