Rated 9 out of 10 by Mcsquib Awesome Game
Ok this is an awesome game for those who like a challenge. The graphics are amazing and so is the shadowing and lighting. The controls are good but I had to change them up a bit. The AI in this game is very impressive they will us suppression and then try to flank you. They also use cover very well. The new destructible environment and cover system are great add ons to the game and work well. The cover system could have been done a little better but it is still great. I have a good storyline and pulls you into it like you are in the war with your troops. The cut scenes are very impressive the only problem I have with them is that there are way to many of them but they look great and also throw some comedy in there to. The sound is great but some guns sound weak. The interface is great and very well done. Also your soldiers are very smart and won't sit out in the open and die. They will run to cover. Also the command system works well as like in the first two. So over all it's a great game that I highly recommend.

Brothers in arms hells highway is based in september 1944 operation market garden nicknamed hells highway its a great game the graphics are great it has a fantastic story where you are Matt Baker a sargent based in world war two you have two teams your assault team made up of leader is Sam Corrian and under aged Frankie and A brit Dawson you also have a special weapons team who either had a bozoka or a machine gun depending on what mission your on the special weapons team is made up of leader Jasper and Connor and Courtland both of these teams during the mission you can tell them where you can go where to fire and what to do. I cant find one big problem in this game. Its just A great game I definatialy recommand this game to anyone who is A world war two buff or just like wor games. by the end of this game you will have a new complextion on what you think of world war two. Market Garden was the last great victory for the Germans in world war two 20,000 americans died one of the worst loses for the americans in world war two.
Rated 10 out of 10 by 2 Gun HIGH WAY TO HELL, AND BACK AGAIN!
For us FPS fans Brothers in Arms: Highway to Hell a definite solid hit. To take a WWII story of one of the biggest screw-ups of the war and turn it into a game was risky, but smart. I enjoy the movie cuts. And by the way, they are done very well. They add emotion, humor (swim the liver?, play it you'll see!) And pride of service with your "Brothers in Arms." (they even got retired Capt. Dale Dye to reprise his role as Col. Sink form the HBO series Band of Brothers)Graphics, light, shadowing are done very well. There is a very slight problem with pop-ups now and then but not nearly enough to distract from the game. 3 cheers for the destructible environment! Great for digging the Nazis out but beware, it works both ways! I like the ability to control the two squads independently. You can set them up to keep the enemy pinned down while you sneak a flanking maneuver and take out the bad guys. The sound is good, if you have a surround sound, even better (my wife just rolls her eyes). If you're a FPS fan you'll have a great time fighting a tough battle. A fine tribute to the men who know that: Freedom ISN'T free.

just snagged this game (3/11) and i will say first off this game is AMAZING! this is a huge step forward from the first 2 installments(road to hill 30, earned in blood). graphics are way better than the first 2. this game came out in '08 and still looks great. models and enviroment are more realistic and squad movement and hit detection is spot on. 3D battlefield overview is now replaced with a 2D map, which i find easier to navigate. new cover system feels a lot like "gears of war" which is what you could expect from gearbox and regenerative health system keeps gameplay more forgiving. more blood and gore/slow motion headshot detection = sweet. i do find you are equipped with more ammo for your allied guns making the likelihood that you'll grab a kraut weapon pretty low. i thought it took away some of the urgency, but it was nice to not have to look for a weapon while moving my squads. there are a lot of cinematic parts and plays hugely on the characters and story. if you haven't played any of the BIA you will be lost on part of the story and also be warned this isn't a FPS run and gun. if coordinating 1 or 2 squads at a time while you fight sounds like too much to handle you might give up on this, but if you have a backbone and a little patience you'll find this game very rewarding. its basically Band Of Brothers in a squad based FPS/strategy!

Matt Baker has his own bazooka team, motar team, machine gun team, and a radio operator to call for artilery support. (on some levels)

The game puts smack dab in the largest paratroop invasion known as Operation Market Garden. You are Matt Baker and you are in control of a platoon of soldiers. Each one of these soldiers have different personalities and act differently throughout the game. You either control Assault, Bazooka, Heavy Support squads. Throughout the game you will have different adventures ranging from driving tanks, sniping, or even going solo into buildings. The story is absolutely amazing. It immerses you into the game making you feel like you were in WWII and fighting along these soldiers. Cut scenes are well executed except for some minor flaws in clipping so sometimes that takes kinda takes away the impressiveness. Soldiers will whisper if an enemy is near by or yell if in a heavy firefight. Sounds are awesome. Big explosions throughout, clattering gun fire and tons of screams really capture you. Graphics are sweet! There's tons of effects, lighting and other graphical tid-bits to be seen throughout. There isn't many other issues than already mentioned. Sometimes in a quick hurry to jump over a fence/brick wall/ect. you will be held back for a moment. Its nothing that bad. Overall its a fairly smooth game. The controls are well laid out and you should have no problem figuring them out. The game is quite responsive but like mentioned before there may be some minor flaws. Challenge wise this game is medium range difficulty. But, once you beat the game on any difficulty you unlock Authentic mode. This mode takes away your HUD, enemies become more intelligent, and the suppression meter is taken away from above enemy heads. I highly recommend you play the first two games of the series (BiA: Road to Hill 30 and BiA: Earned in Blood) before buying this game. Otherwise you will probably not understand that well of what it is your doing. Summery: Sweet graphics, excellent sound, amazing story, good controls, hard, minor flaws, smooth gameplay, well layout, and overall an AMAZING game.
