Rated 10 out of 10 by Zahl My Favorite Strategy Game
As a fan of StarCraft and Age of Empires alike, I can tell you that this is by the most delved game in the genre of strategy.
The units are fairly balanced, the god powers are not too powerful or unbalanced. It's exciting to race against your opponent but still being able to turtle out for a win if you want to take it slow.
When you summon your first Titan, you will see why this game gets so much love.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Anil Great Pc game for average Computers
This Pc game is really great for average consumers who have bad computers or average ones. Its also addicting to play but the sound sometimes does get annoying (listen to music or w/e). The AI is great and there is a huge challenge in this game if your willing to put the AI on the hardest difficulty. The story mode (well its weird) isn't fun i just skipped it (well i played it once through) and went on versing AI. There is a really cool thing where you make your own map and program the map pretty much. IT'S REALLY HARD TO LEARN HOW TO USE THE PROGRAMING. (or you can just look online which i usually never read!). You can just play these really cool maps people make online and download them and you can soon host your own game, that's easier. People should really look into this game, i have a crappy Toshiba laptop and i can still run it fine (and i mean pretty darn crappy). Really its only **$ so you should really go buy this game.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Kiru Age of Empires II with Gods
As my review title states, this is basically age of empires with gods. You can choose between 4 main civilizations: Norse, Greek, Atlantean, and Egyptian. Each of these has 3 distinct main gods within them to choose from. One of the things i really like more about AoM as opposed to AoE II is that the civilizations are very distinct. In AoE there are some differences but for the most part it the only distinctions were the building designs. In this one the characters operate different, and you have to rethink your strategy with each civilization. The evolution from age to age is accompanied with god powers of your choice (presented based on which main god you chose). They can vary in usefulness. Some really don't do much, but others devastate your opponent or help your nation grow and flourish. Basically if you are debating between this and Age of Empires II (because AoE III is ridiculously expensive), i would go with this.
Rated 10 out of 10 by neo5731 awesome game!
this is the first age of mythology game i have ever played. But it was defenitely worth the money. i loved the game! the story line is good, and the replayability is amazing. the sounds good too. the only thing i didnt like was that the graphics werent that great. but the amazingly easy interface makes up for the graphics. i just started playing the game but i cant put it down. its an amazing game and i recomend it to anyone who plays computer games that arent expensive and are loads of fun! i wish they did make a new one with updated graphics...that would be amazing! but the interface is so good...its so easy to make buildings and then make different units. plus the replayability is even better because every age you level up in you get to choose 1 of 2 gods that alter the gameplay alot. Since each god has a different ability and different units to summon. so it always changes! amazing strategy!
Rated 10 out of 10 by Preston =-) Great Game! (Buy it)
This game is the best game or one of the best RTS games i have ever played! It has a great storyline lots of surprises and great ideas. The graphics are good and cont require a 7.0 GHZ like some games... This really pisses me off. Anyway you can choose between lots and lots of maps and there are tons of different units and vehicles. There is a lot of new buildings, you have to love the new god powers also. The game also have 4 different skill settings easy, medium, hard and titan. the game is really easy to understand requires lots of strategy not just left clicking and right clicking like some games.... Empire: Total War *cough cough*. I really enjoy the game. It requires no internet to play but does have a multi player mode which requires internet so it is perfect for a traveling game. The sound is good but every time you move a unit or person he makes some weird saying or word from some other language which does occasionally get annoying from time to time. But you can turn off music or sound so whatever. Overall to sum it up I'd say one of the best RTS games of all time =-)
Rated 10 out of 10 by SlimTyler BEST PC GAME!
I bought Age of Mythology with the expansion years ago and i still play it today. it is amazing and i give it a perfect 10!!! Being the Greeks Eygiptions and Norse men is fun and the first game has a 32 mission campaing, while the 2 has 13. It is a great storyline with Arkantoes(the man carrecter) and Kaster(main progetest in the 2nd) with many heoroes. Using titans in your army make it very strong and with alll the men you can choose with it is outstanding! The map editor is fun to because yo can make a map from sctratch, big forests to huge city's the possiblity's are endless. And even when you beat the campaings it one of those games you can play all over again and again. the Graphics are great and the battles are realistic and there are so many buildings. I recconmend it to all game buyers!
Rated 10 out of 10 by xENDx Awesome game that doesn't get boring
Age of Mythology: Titans Expansion was one of the best and most popular games in its time. I loved this game very much and never got bored of it. I would pull all nighters often because the game was that fun. Gods, wars, epic fights, heroes, catapults, ships, myth creatures, you name it! this game had it all. Obviously this is more of an ancient type of war with mythology so don't expect tanks and guns. I wish people who like playing pc games will give this game a shot. It is an old game but for its time it still has good graphics. Similar to age of empires but this is way cooler. The only issue that this had was the multiplayer game, the same product keys were being sold so people couldn't play online anymore. Great game overall. GREEKS FOR THE WIN.
Rated 10 out of 10 by atlantean123 Greatest game ever
Buy this game, i just got the expansion and it is like playing a whole nother game. the atlantean campaign is creative and gives you a feel of the original game. You visit all the same cultures and now great powers like vortex or tartarian gate. The original game is fun too, it features a 30-31 level campaign and lets you play as the norse, greek, or egyptian. This game is for anyone who likes to personalize and army and either crush you opponent slowly and torturously until they beg for mercy or those whose like to do away with enimies in one foul swoop. Buy this game!!!!!!

I've had this game since a year after it came out I'm 13, but this really has and still will exceed my expectations. Also there are countless downloadable s that you can find to make the game even better. I don't think any one will forget this game.
Well done Ensemble Studios.
