TekNmotion Yapster - Black
Good for gaming, not so much for... anything else.
The TekNmotion Yapster headset boasts it's versatility as one of the main features, if you're looking for a versatile headset, this is NOT for you.
Although if you are looking for an inexpensive and fair quality headset, look no further.
The sound of the Yapster can only be described as muddy and thick, at the same time, the quality isn't the worst I've heard and in an FPS can even benefit you. The emphasis the headset puts on bass makes the shooting sound... not realistic, but good. I wouldn't recommend this to the casual music listener, more suited towards gamers.
Now, onto the mic. I really like how flexible it is, very easy to adjust. The quality of the recordings astounded me, I was expecting a muddy and unclear quality, just like the headphones. In actuality, I got a very clear and precise recording with very little background noise.
In general, it does feel a bit flimsy, but not unbearably so. It also features a very helpful feature, the ability to adjust volume and mute/unmute the mic from the headset.
Given the inexpensive price for the device I'll give this product a 8.5/10, keep in mind that rating only applies to gamers. Using this for anything except for gaming earns it a 6/10.
If you have the twenty dollars and need a headset specifically for gaming, I recommend you purchase this product.
I have had no problems with this headset and it is very comfortable. I have had it for over a year and it has not broke or had any problems.
Headset works great! Not much to it though needs a design on it. For the price it's good! Very fast shipment Thank you!
I love this headset! The sound quality is crystal-clear, and the mic works great! With a cable for the mic, and another for the headphones, set up is as easy as 1, 2...that's it! :) Not only are they perfect for PC gaming, but music and movies sound way better with these. Definitely worth the money. 10/10 :D
You get what you pay for
you absolutly get exactly what you pay for if the mic is $20 you get a bad mic and your down $20. Once again, you get what you pay for...
