Star Wars: The Old Republic Gaming Mouse Pad
Not worth $50.
I got this SWTOR Razer mouse-mat and the SWTOR Razer mouse. After less than 5 months I can already see wear on the top left corner of the mat. It looks horrible like black mold but its actually the white background fading and the black base showing through. I consider the time I spend gaming as around an average gamer so I don't believe it is faded due to a lot of use. The mouse-mat was advertised as unslide-able but it slides plenty. The design is really stupid and I was a big fan of Razer. The metal frame that the plastic center rests on is harsh on my wrist, I may as well have my wrist on the edge of my desk. On top of all of this SWTOR is on It's death bed. I would not recommend this mat to anyone that will actually use it.
Don't Buy It
When this came in the mail I was so excited. It came in a nice flashy Star Wars box that was a shame to throw away but what am I going to do with it. Unfortunately, the box was the coolest thing about it.
Once I started using it I just became more and more upset with it until finally I felt like I needed to write a review on why I hate it so much. I suppose it's really simple, this mousepad comes in two parts, a very thin hard plastic sheet that is reversible so you can choose your emblem on display, and a clunky black metal base with non-slip coating on the bottom. The two pieces will not stay together, no matter what surface I play on. The design is flawed, they should have made it affix with a magnet or some kind of clip.
So I'll be playing and oops, my wrist bumped the mouse plate and now its popping out of it's base again and screwing up my game. Happens once every 2 minutes. I've tried using the plate without the base, since it is a very good mouse surface, but without the base it is flimsy, slides all over the place and is entirely too small. Worst overpriced mousepad ever. Unless you like being disappointed, don't buy it.
Long time gamer
At first I was like everyone else 50.00 for a mouse pad? I have to say after taking a chance on it, I love it. The smooth gliding of the mouse make my MMO easier to play and it's more comfortable during long sessions. You can make fun of me all you Iike but I'm a believer you get what you pay for.
