Best headset i have ever used
This headset is simply amazing.It is truly designed for long term gaming. It looks old school and has comfortable felt ear cups. The sound is fantastic and they work with my pc and mac with a change in settings. If you need a headset perfect for longterm gaming get these they are great!!

Worth Every Penny
I recently purchased this headset and let me tell you, it is the best headset I've ever owned.
DESIGN: The material is very durable and the pads over the ears are incredibly comfortable. I have kept this headset on for up to 6 hours straight with no irritation whatsoever. Also, no batteries are needed! Just plug into USB and play!
SOUND QUALITY: With the "Maelstrom" button, you have the choice of 2.0 or 7.1. The 2.0 is better for listening to music while the 7.1 is for gaming and it works great! You can easily hear enemies walking up behind you in shooters, or precise direction where gunfire is coming from. Also, when i speak into the mic, my voice is very clear. Last, when you put this headset on, you will not be able to hear anything else going on around you, so you can be fully focused in your game or music!
CONS: My only concern is other players tell me they hear a soft buzzing noise if i don't mute when I'm not speaking. I don't hear this sound at all, but I'm not sure if it is just my settings or the mic itself that is causing this issue, but I've heard others with this headset saying the same thing.
CONCLUSION: Definitely buy this headset if you are a hardcore PC gamer! It is worth the $150 in the quality and easily competes with headsets that are more expensive than this. This headset replaced my turtle beach X31's for PC usage, and it is so much better for the extra 50 dollars. Just keep in mind this headset only works for PC, not for consoles.
