Product Details:

Zoo Resort is the first 3D zoo simulation game, offering players an incredibly realistic and life-like zoo and management experience. It's up to you to build a world-class zoo destination, including choosing your animals from over 100 options, deciding where to set up their habitats and entertaining visitors with your animals' talents. Plus, watch and almost touch the animals as they come alive in 3D to show off their personality and skills.

  • Build your own zoo and manage it to success - Bring in animals, take care of them, manage the zoo and attract visitors to build a successful zoo. Some animals may get sick, while others may gain popularity, so players need to manage which animals are out each day and which are in prominent locations.
  • Wide variety of 100+ realistic 3D animals to collect and discover - As players progress in the game, they unlock more and more animals to bring to their zoo, from penguins, lions and elephants to even extinct animals. The rarer the animal, the more traffic the zoo will get. Plus, as players unlock animals with their points received from entertaining visitors, they learn fun animal facts and trivia. With more than 100 animals, Zoo Mania offers more than any other handheld zoo simulation game, and the realistic 3D effects, movements and noises create a lifelike zoo experience.
  • Watch your animals perform awe-inspiring talents and movements and capture them to entertain visitors - Once the player has built strong relationships with their animals, they can use the Nintendo 3DS gyro sensor to capture their animals' talents as if the handheld were a video camera. Watch and almost touch the animals as they come alive in 3D and show off their personality and skills. The better shots the player captures, the more positive feedback they will get from their audience, and the more successful their zoo will become.
  • Create a personalized photo album - Capture your favorite animals and their best talents to keep in your photo album and share with friends via SD card.
  • Fully leverages Nintendo 3DS technology - Zoo Mania is a great game for any Nintendo 3DS owner who wants to fully utilize the new technologies of the Nintendo 3DS, featuring 3D animals, camera and motion-sensing movement and incredibly realistic graphics.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from There's not enough to do. I like taking pictures of the animals in the zoo and feeding them but when that's all there is to do the game just isn't much fun. I would have loved it if there were more interactions with the animals, such as petting, playing with them, and even cleaning the enclosures in addition to being able to take pictures. So far this is the worst zoo game there is. I was hoping for a much better game than this although the animals do look good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall fail with a few good ideas I have zoo tycoon 2 for the DS and that game is a lot more fun for a much longer time. I was hoping it would be like zoo tycoon, but it was not. The graphics and sounds are great and if you have a kid that loves taking pictures of animals then consider buying the game otherwise do not. It had a few good ideas like being able to greatly expand the park and the dispenser to give random new animals for points earned in the game. However overall game play sucks, all you do is take pictures of the animals, sometimes feeding them for better pictures, to make them more popular and manage were the animals go. You even have a limit to the number of animals you can visit before it automatically ends the day, though the number does increase with the more animals you get. Overall it is an easy game to beat and does not have lasting appeal or a good gaming experience. If you want a real fun zoo game go back to the Tycoon games. The new games like this need to focus just as much the do on the graphics on to making a fun game, because if you want to see some awesome graphics that the 3DS allows, both the 3D and no 3D, compared to the earlier versions this game certainly shows them.
