Product Details:

In the visual style of the critically-acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds game comes a new adventure. In this journey, three players team up - each as Link - to cooperatively make their way through inventive dungeons and battle bosses. Use the new Totem mechanic to stack three Links on top of each other to reach higher grounds and solve puzzles. Collect loot to create wearable outfits, each with a different boost or ability.

Features:

  • Similar visual style and top-down view of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
  • As Link, buddy up with two other Link characters and cooperatively solve inventive puzzles to progress through the game.
  • All three players share hearts, so they must work together to defeat enemies and solve puzzles.
  • Stack three Links on top of each other with the new "Totem" mechanic, which makes it possible to reach new locations to solve puzzles.
  • Collect loot to create wearable outfits, each with a different boost or ability. Each dungeon is structured with four main areas.
  • Single-player mode allows the player to rent two paper dolls to take along to complete the team of three and face challenges in dungeons.
  • Choose from a set of emoticons to communicate with each other while playing in multiplayer mode.
  • Team up with two other players in multiplayer mode via local wireless connection, online and with download play.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's... OK... It really bugs me to say this, but this is by far one of the weakest Zelda titles. I don't believe in bad Zelda games. It just has an awkward setup. You pretty much need three players and the single player is awkward and kind of weird. I appreciate the story and all around charm of the game but there's boring gameplay that'll get boring after well under an hour. However, if you have online functions, the game is really fun!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Game is Good The single player sucks a little but multiplayer is awesome and even with random people sometimes...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfying alone, Better with friends I think it's important to know before buying that Triforce heroes is a game that is designed to be played in multiplayer. While single player is an option and granted i had fun playing through the single player mode, it is multiplayer that provides the full experience as playing through these mini-dungeons with friends are the most fun that this game can provide as it requires everyone to unify and become a team. It is also important to know that this is not a typical zelda game, there is no Overworld to explore and no giant map to run around in as the game takes a more "mario bros" approach to it's progression, being a level to level style of game. In the end though it is still great fun to get into and worth the purchase, especially when having 2 other players to play with, trying to work together (or against each other) to make it to the end.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from By far the WORST Legend of Zelda title ever This game made me sad. The legend of Zelda is a Great series. It's the only reason I even still buy ANY game consoles whatsoever. But this game is pathetic. No open world roaming, no spanning world map, no puzzles or intricate secrets. Pretty much everything that makes a Legend of Zelda game. You can play by yourself but the game is made for 3 people to play together. I don't like playing video games with other people. It's near impossible to find someone who plays at the same speed as you, they are either waiting for you to catch up or you are waiting for them. You play in levels with full hearts at the start. No more finding heart pieces or defeating bosses to gain a heart. No more fun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Nice Quick game The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes is a fun title for any Zelda fan. It doesn't have much in terms of a story, but it does have lots to explore, and do. You play as the same Link from A Link Between worlds. It's been a few months for the hero, and he stumbles upon the Kingdom of Hytopia, a fashionable place all about style. You, and two other heroes must equip different outfits with cool abilities, and fight through the Drablands, and stop the witch who cursed the princess The art style is pretty much the same as A Link Between Worlds, and the music is great to listen to. Game play is pretty easy to learn. It's great for people new to the series. It's definitely got a bit of replay value from it. I know I'm still playing it weeks after beating the main story. Overall I give Triforce Heroes a 7/10

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shallow Puzzle Game Tri Force Heroes may look good but it has a very short life span once we move on from the multiplayer game to play Hyrule Heroes. What also kills the game is the single player. You control two mindless totems by possessing them. This just doesn't work cause you don't want to do it for long cause it gets boring very fast. Nintendo will add an additional free content in December for free but expect them to charge for more content afterwards. Overall this feels like that it should be on an iPad or iPhone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much better than I anticipated. The game is much better than I anticipated. I did not think there would be as much depth to this game as compared to other Zelda games but there is. The online multiplayer is really well done and you must cooperate with your team mates to finish the levels. I like that team play concept in this game. Other than an occasional lag online, it is a smooth experience. The sound and graphics are perfect for this game. I highly recommend this to any Zelda fan.
