Product Details:

As most reluctant heroes do, Stella Glow-protagonist Alto starts as a country boy in a small town. One day, he hears a song coming from the forest (which is odd, since song has been absent on the planet for thousands of years), where he discovers the lone Hilda. But after the chance encounter, Hilda reveals she's the Witch of Destruction, determined to destroy the world with her Harbingers. As Hilda is about to destroy Alto's hometown, he and Lisette are rescued by the Royal Knights and whisked back safely to the kingdom. Alto joins the 9th Regiment for the sole purpose of gathering the other Witches to stop Hilda.

  • Fight enemies by singing your heart out
Song Magic: Famous Japanese voice actors sing more than 20 songs in the game. Plus, the soundtrack is composed by Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenogears). The songs are part of Song Magic - a vital combat and story element. Players can even choose to "tune" the Witches' hearts to increase their abilities.
  • Free time
Players will get an allotment of Free Time where they can upgrade or buy items, tune Witches' hearts, explore, and grind experience, but that's in limited supply as Combat Time will drive along the game's story. Several Free Time options allow players to deepen relationships with their comrades, even form romances, which can unlock new powers and special events - make sure to use your Free Time accordingly!
  • Plenty of Fight
Stella Glow will have 40-60 hours of story and sidequest content, with multiple endings, New Game+ mode, and more than 50 maps to battle on, the world of Stella Glow is rich and vibrant with tons to do!
  • Solid Strategy Gameplay
From the team behind the classic Luminous Arc games comes a brand new IP with the same renowned strategic combat.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great game Like a lot of people I was skeptical at first, but after playing the demo on the eshop I went to my nearest Gamestop and bought the last copy. This is one of my top 3 3DS games so far. Stella Glow has plenty of fun game play that never seems to get repetitive along with great voice acting, good animation (for the 3DS) and amazing music this is one of the best DS games of all time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic and highly recommended First of all lets talk about the overall game play, its excellent and easy to understand. If you played fire emblem you'll definitely have a connection to it already. The story is fantastic and presented the mood perfectly so much so even I felt sad, happy and all around joy when playing this game because of its great knowing of setting the mood and I think its because of its well understanding of music. This games music is fantastic im already a fan of some of the witches songs and their all so catchy and lovely along with their complete usefulness in battle. So much so that they cover so many battle strategies that anyone can pick their preference. I highly recommend the game

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Unexpected Treasure At first my reason for buying Stella Glow was its lovely launch edition goodies, but I genuinely started to love it once I played it. The characters are ridiculously cute and while Stella Glow doesn't break too many of the classic RPG molds, it's a shining beacon of what happens when all elements come together in perfect harmony. Definitely worth a try for anyone looking for an engrossing adventure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An undiscovered gem of 2015 This game has a gameplay style akin to that of the Fire Emblem series: tactical/strategic turn-based where you control units and select their positions on the field. The story was enthralling to me as there was never a dull moment, meanwhile you feel a connection with the characters and watch them grow. The free-time you have in between missions is best used in spending time with your units as you uncover their personal back stories. If you are a fan of JRPG with a good story, likable characters, and awesome music, then this is the game for you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect This is such a great game. It's not really a casual gamer game, but not exactly hardcore, either. It's somewhere in the middle because there is strategy involved, and you will die if you don't pay attention. I love the songs and the voice acting, though it apparently annoys some people. I love anime, though, and it plays like you are adventuring your own anime-type story. Freetime takes some time to get used to, but if you play wisely, you can utilize it to really advance the story and characters. As a bonus, the launch edition is just too pretty to open. I'd pick it up in the store if you can, though, as my first order came comepletely squished inside a padded envelope. It was very disappointing, but there was a store near me that exchanged it without any issues. Thank you, GameStop, for making it so easy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game! I was skeptical at first about it, did some research and thought it wouldn't be impressive. But right after the first fight I was hooked on this game, I've beaten it twice, just trying to get all the stuff and some missions are really really hard! A mix of serious emotional moments, along with some very funny moments. This game is great for everyone I say, it plays a little like Fire Emblem, but honestly, I'd have to go with this game instead at many points. Give this game a try, you won't be dissapointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Game I thought this game looked really cheesy at first. Fire Emblem knockoff or something. Wow! I was really wrong. The voice acting is so well done as well as the songs in game, that I didn't skip any dialogue. That's a first for me. I rarely can stand voice acting in these strategy games and skip over after I read the text. I love the voices and singing in this game! And the strategy tactics are there. It can get really tough but starts off at a reasonable difficulty (super easy). You can go through the game without caring for the story, and it would still hold its own. I doubt you will want to, though. I was mesmerized by the whole package. Great game so far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A vibrant tale brimming with potential. After playing the demo, I knew I was going to be hooked. Stella Glow is filled with colorful art, complex character designs, and even dark themes that wrap up the story into the wonderful tale it creates. A large amount of english voice acting is included within the dialogue that sets the mood properly, along with the beautiful background music. Stella Glow brings a standard difficulty to the table - while the game has a nice pace, you will probably have to grind if the situation calls so. The free time function in the game is very entertaining, as you can raise affinities with your colleagues or simply explore for special items, and more. Has plenty of replay value thanks to various character endings and a vibrant story. After finishing the game, I felt very satisfied with Stella Glow as a whole. If you're looking for a great SRPG with plenty of moving moments and amazing battle, this game will be a worthwhile choice.
