Rated 5 out of 10 by ThatChosendude12 The game is wayyy too short, But a decent game
Don't get me wrong, I freaking love spidey. He's my favorite superhero of all time, and he has my favorite villain too, Venom. So seeing this game blew my mind! I mean, you get to see 2099! Who is my one of my favorites too. So seeing them BOTH in a game got me pumped up! But, the result was disappointing. First of all, you can't free roam which is major bummer because I was looking forward to a new spider-man free roam game, so i would expect it to come after the game? right? Seeing as you see them both go outside and websling. But something that was bad about it was that after you beat the game, there's nothing to do! I mean, you can collect costumes and collectibles after the game. But i wanted a spider-man game that wasn't so boring. But, a positive about this game is that the story is fluid and amazing, I mean, my favorite superheroes DYING? and, both 2099 (O'Hara) and Peter are hilarious! Anti Venom was awesome. But the end boss was pretty bad. But, overall I recommend this to hardcore spidey-fans and people who will have a great time with a game.

I enjoyed this game quite bit, but would probably give it a 3.5 if Amazon allowed half point ratings. The story is great, well told, and well presented. The voice work couldn't be better. I liked the concept of the game a lot, and found that the narrative really drove me to keep playing (although the end seemed pretty abrupt after the final battle). The graphics are very nicely done as well, and the Spider-men especially look brilliant. The boss battles were too few, however, and I wasn't espescially fond of the choice of bosses either (real villains from the comics would have been better). The last couple boss fights were also a little too vague in terms of what the player needed to do in order to win, and that led to needless frustration, but if you like spider man you'll want this.

I could barely find video footage & or reviews for this game anywhere around the net so I bought it via instinct & full on trust that this game would be good.I will get straight to the point, if you liked spiderman shattered dimensions at all you just might like edge of time because it is basically shattered dimensions with a more comic book driven story minus black suit & Noir spiderman. As far as graphics go and the experience on the Nintendo 3ds the 3d does add a bit of depth to the game & the gameplay is pretty much just like shattered dimensions with new moves.Though it would be nice to get gameplay like web of shadows on the 3ds edge of time works just fine.Get your spiderman fix on the 3ds and review about it so more people know whether or not to pick this up.

Honestly, I have never been a fan of any spiderman games, but for some reason this one was amazing. The story is very well written and presented, combat is fluid and fast, and playing as two types of spider man felt really well done. The ability tree gave it a nice touch and made each spidey feel different. The cutscenes were so good. And the action was just nonstop. The 3D effects are good not the greatest,as things move so fast it can be a bit daunting to follow it all. But I highly recommend the 3d maxed out for the free fall chases..amazing honestly, Never thought 3d would be a game changer but honestly it really does make it better and enhance it all. I highly recommend this to anyone that is a fan of the old cartoons..and adults alike.
Rated 7 out of 10 by Mctron It is a good but not great game.
Lets start this off with one thing if you can't overlook minor glitches then just don't get it but if your looking to whoop some butt with spiderman and see what a wii port looks like on the 3ds than look no further. It is an beat em up, bad guys beat em move on continue, but it has an upgrade system and fresh and well done combat. The voice acting and story are amazing with stunning cut scenes. So if you like just playing as a day in the life of your normal neighborhood spiderman than this is your game.

This is an amazing game. The graphic a are amazing, the game play is incredible and the sound is terrific. The graphics are so great you can see the wrinkles in spider-man's outfit and the tears in his outft(after getting killed by Anti-Venom). The game also lasts for a while so it is not that short of a game. Their are many different abilities and fighting styles. One of the best parts of the game is that you can unlock different costumes. Overall this is a great game and I recommend you buy it.

I bet it's gonna be good/great. I mean so far on the 3DS every company has gone either all out or hardly anything on a game so since Spider-Man has had a terrible go on the Nintendo DS line I feel it's because the 2-D and pixel really limited the playing experience. Now the 3DS is quite good on the 3D graphics and I have faith in this game. Plus I'm a big Spider-Man myself (shocker :0) so I will give this a try and I might just review how it was.

Huge spiderman fan! i debated on getting this for the 360 or 3DS. But i went with the fact that i can carry it anywhere and boy did i make the right choice. The controls are easy to follow which was one of my biggest concerns. The gameplay is Awesome. Its a must get for big spiderman fans. But its and overall great game in general i highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, the 3DS version of this game will not be developed by Beenox, but instead, by the people who made the CSI game, Other Ocean Interactive. I loved Shattered Dimensions Wii and DS, but they were made by Beenox and Griptonite. Companies need to stop porting DS games to the 3DS, and start porting the console versions. I'll give the game a shot though.
