Pilotwings Resort - 3DS
Fun for awhile
This was my first 3ds game and I enjoyed it for the most part. I don't think the 3d for this game is so great, but it's probably just me. This game has nice gameplay and takes a bit of time to master. Free flight mode isn't really free flight, thanks to the time limit. But time limit can be increased. (5 minutes is the maximum time limit) Mission mode was something that I found the most entertaining. It offered ways to really get used to the craft you were flying and provided a way to kill time. The music is pleasent and goes pretty well with the game. I showed this game to a friend and he liked it. (he had a hard time giving the 3ds back, really glad he has his own now) The only downside to this game is after you beat it, there isn't much else to do. You could try to beat your high scores or start completely over and redo mission mode and free flight mode. This is a game I still enjoy, just isn't as great the second time you play it. This game will kill time and is an enjoyable one. I just wish it had more to offer.
It is really addicting
The game may not sound like much fun but once you actually play it, it is really addicting. You will find yourself playing this game almost everyday in 3d. The 3d really makes it look like you are really there and flying. You play either in an airplane, hang glider or a rocket belt. Of course when you play it you can unlock more and more stuff. You can unlock new ways to fly. If you want to know what they are you have to pick up a game and start playing it for yourself. Pilotwings Resort, you just have to have it.
I played this game demo at my best buy and i want this game. It has awsome 3d affects and very easy to control the thing u r flying. When i first picked it up i was amazed at how much 3d was in the system.
This game is really fun overall, I love to play missions and go through those rings and beatng time. The graphics are good, but sometimes the 3-D version kind of makes it confusing because it dosen't look like it is in 3-D, and it said recommended for ages 7 or over and I'm over 7. But the 3-Dmit seems sloppy. So if I were you I'd change it to 2-D mode. The sound is good and clear, and the price for this is nice. But sometimes I get stuck in the middle of the game here-and-there because of the difficulty. But this game is funner playing for fun. This is the first 3-Ds game, and I'm overall satisfied, so you should go and get this.

Incredibly Repetitive, but still fun.
This is one of the first games I got for the 3DS, and the one I played the most often. Some will find it repetitive. You have to admit, though, probably the most repetitive, but, still the most fun.
This game is repetitive, because, for one thing, you just fly around an island, may not sound like that much fun, but there is a whole lot more to it. There is different levels of license’s you can get in the game, but not sure how many levels, I think it’s 3 or more. Also, there are a load of checkpoints to discover by flying to them. Plus, it was pretty fun getting to fly all around. Last, there is some different modes on their as well, that are worth trying out.
The graphics on this game our beyond what I expected and fantastic. In fact, it’ll probably be one of the best games (graphic-wise) you’ll see on the 3DS. From a tree to a huge mansion, the graphics have been perfecting, and others will say the same.
Great Showcase of 3D strength
This game although some say not the best of the 3DS launch titles stands out as a great title that shows its 3D capabilities. Sure some of the missions can be tough but that makes a game better to play. Even if you do poorly on the objective side of the game you should keep trying and hone your skills flying in the airplane, rocket pack, or hang glider. Just because a game presents a challenge and seems "stupid" does not mean that it should be shied away from. The scenery of Resorts Island truly does come alive through the 3DS screen and some times I get lost just looking at the back ground, landing myself right into the ground. The free-fly mode is one of the best options. It allows you to fly around the island and discover landmarks just like in the Wii version. Truly this game should be hailed as one of the best titles that the 3DS came out with and not sneered at. As one of the first titles it is almost guaranteed to have some dysfunctions and bad "programming" but as a predecessor for later games, it is a very good buy.
The game is a quite interesting game. It has a variety of missions. I haven't unlocked myself though! The graphics are great. Everything looks realistic for a game. Although the 3D does sort of hurt my eyes. As if the aircraft seems to get you cross eyed if you focus on it. Although the island is recycled, the creators could have put a few Mii Spectators to make the island not deserted. Keep in mind this is one of the first 3D Games that have been created for the Nintendo 3DS. Overall the game is quite addicting. I recommend this game to others.
Sit Back and Relax
This was the first 3ds game i bought for my system. I mainly bought it because I dont like fighter games for extended periods of time and i got my 3ds shortly after launch date, now the selection is larger than 3 or 4 games. but it was remincient of my childhood with the original pilot wings if you dont know what i'm talking about either your to young or just forgot about it. took me 5 years to remember what game it was then recently found the cartridge for the 64 at a local place, then the 3ds came out so it was my only 3ds game till zelda's release. but enough of that the game itself is fun and is exteramly difficult if you plan to 100% it, I do wish the free flight mode didnt have a limit that would make it all the better just to relax and soar around the island. and maybe have brought back some of the older events like sky diving but all in all i enjoy picking this game up once and a while and playing it. have to put it down after a while because it will get boring and annoying so if your looking for the sit down and play long game look else where if you are looking for that game you can sit down for 5-10 minutes at a time this works perfectly.
Good game, but doesn't last long.
The game is a bunch good, but it just doesn't last. What I mean by this is that you can play the missions for a while, sure, but once your done all you do is fly around and collect things. The game is very short in general, but the music is relaxing and very resort-esque. Overall, The game is short but fun and simple.
