Product Details:

For the first time in a video game, experience the excitement and the magic of Michael Jackson's music videos in 3D. Michael Jackson The Experience for the Nintendo 3DS invites Players on a spectacular interactive journey through 15 of the King of Pop's most legendary short films. Built from the ground up for the Nintendo 3DS, and true to Michel Jackson's ground breaking and visionary work, Michael Jackson The Experience introduces a brand new way of playing rhythm games, an experience as close as it gets to "dancing" on a portable console.

  • Experience a more organic and natural way to play rhythm games. With the Nintendo 3DS stylus, draw series of shapes on the touch screen, according to the beat and the choreographies of the Michael Jackson avatar on the screen. Chain up moves to progressively unlock spectacular special effects and other animated background elements. During timed Freestyle moments, Players can even create their own choreographies from a set of classic Michael Jackson moves.
  • Rediscover environments from 15 of Michael Jackson's classic music videos in stereoscopic 3D. Perform legendary choreographies in these faithfully recreated signature settings: the ghoul-infested graveyard from Thriller, the luxurious Palace of the Pharaoh from Remember the Time, the seedy underworld nightclub from Smooth Criminal, and many more. And when it's time to take a break from the dancing, gorgeous cinematic cut-scenes retell these fantastic stories in eye-popping details and special effects.
  • Dance your way to glory. Pull off flawless performances and beat multiple varied challenges. Climb ranks up to ultimately become a Legend. Unlock tons of cool collectibles and rewards including alternative outfits, power-up gloves to improve your scores, additional environmental effects, badges for bragging rights, and more. Compare your scores with others in song-based leaderboards that auto-update when you cross paths with other owners of the game.
  • Have fun whether you are a very casual player, or a seasoned music game veteran. Three difficulty levels make the game accessible and enjoyable to everyone, with the hardest difficulty setting being truly addictive and challenging to master.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Game, Missing Promised Features Michael Jackson Experience 3D is an interesting game. Ubisoft created an entirely different music game mechanic in their swipe system. As you play the game, you slowly improve a little MJ statue with your performance points, in turn unlocking more songs, and difficulty. By completing the objectives for different songs you unlock background features like dancers, special lighting, and you unlock gloves and alternative outfits. Gloves do special things, like 2x your score, erase missed swipes (which is usually the COMs fault anyways -_-) and give extra PERFECTS. The timing of your swipes gives you a PERFECT, GREAT, OK, BAD, or MISS score. Also you unlock On-Demand Performance, when the COM plays the song for you, which I think is there excuse for not just including a 3D version of the original music video. There are exclusions of songs that should be there like You Rock My World, Wanna Be Startin Something, and Jam. My biggest complaint is that before its release, Ubi told of an online dance battle system. Now released, the game DOES NOT HAVE IT. But the stupid Vita version does. PATCH THE GAME UBI! PATCH IT! Also, there is one thing I haven't unlocked...What is it? The internet leaves no clues...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This game is a Thriller I love this game I've played it for about a week and its A-mazing. Now first the gameplay, the songs are perfect for the 3DS. I'm really glad they put in Hollywood Tonight and some songs are difficult, especially Thriller on Expert I swear I open my mouth every time I start. Graphics are good, but if you're the person who likes PSP and isn't really into DS go for PSVita HD, but for some reason when you put it on 3D it looks better. Sound is perfect there's nothing wrong with it. I think this game will last quite a while because it gives something to do when you've played all the songs unlock challenges and gloves, outfits. But one thing if you don't like MJ that much don't buy it. You have to really like him to enjoy his game.
